About Georgiana's Caribbean Cuisine

Georgiana's Caribbean Cuisine, located at 1904 Chelten Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19131, is an absolute treasure! Owned and operated by Georgiana — a wonderful soul from Portland, Jamaica, a region famous for its rich culinary traditions — this restaurant brings the authentic taste of Jamaica straight to our city.

From the moment you walk in, the calm, relaxed atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Ordering is simple, the service is friendly, and the food? Absolutely unforgettable.

Let's talk about the curry goat and oxtail — both incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and falling right off the bone. The oxtail gravy is something you'll dream about; it's that good. The jerk chicken is full of bold, marinated flavor, and the stew chicken is rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying. The cabbage is cooked just right — flavorful with a nice texture — and the yams are simply spectacular. Even the rice stands out, perfectly balancing every dish.

To top it off, Georgiana serves up a variety of Caribbean drinks in tropical flavors that instantly transport you to Jamaica. It's like a mini vacation in every bite and sip.

This isn't just a restaurant — it's a taste of home, a cultural experience, and a must-visit spot for anyone who loves authentic Jamaican cuisine.
