Wow. So we went to Philadelphia for the Craft Furniture Show and as we drove past Shay's I mentioned to my partner that I had tried Philly Steaks at their original home...and they SUCKED. But the 5-star reviews of this place convinced us to give it a shot. WHO KNEW Cheesesteaks could be this delicious, incredible, yummy and satisfying? Shay's is now on my "must visit" list forever.
I am starting to plan my business travel plans around being able to visit Shay’s when I come north. What a tremendous job they do all around, not to mention the cheesesteaks are out of this world. Owner could not be friendlier. Don’t miss out on this gem.
All right let me start off by saying that I am pretty stingy with my reviews. I either write a review because the service was terrible or because I had an exceptional experience... I have worked in Philadelphia for the last 10 years and upon being transferred here from New Jersey I went on a quest to find the best cheesesteak in the city. I have tried All the typical cheesesteak places in South Philly and elsewhere to include my favorites Delasandro's,Jim's and John's...
