Every time I've popped in here to grab a drink or a quick bite, I've never been disappointed. The bartenders are attentive. Great happy hour as well, not many places have a full 4-7pm happy hour. Great prices.
The flavors here are all intense and kicked up a notch - so prepare for an authentic experience that doesn't dumb down all the dishes to cater to the lowest common denominator. On the other hand they still offer fun fusion options that can appeal to people who want Korean inspired flavors in familiar foods like burgers and fried chicken. Southgate is our favorite dinner spot in the neighborhood. The food is reliably great, and the service is personal, attentive, and friendly without being intrusive. The bar staff makes the best drinks we've found on the west side of Broad!
