Peep hole in bathroom on frame to another room don't use the bathrooms. very sus. Also a bit rude . I wouldn't advise going here . Pastelillos were over cooked and dry. My kids didn't like the pastelillos much either. The shake was good but I wouldn't buy from there ever again. Also not very clean.

I used to love this place for their flavor and their platters.. but now they lost a loyal customer. I understand food prices have gone up.. but for you to sell a tiny potato ball for $4.... is outrageous!!! Their platters used to come with a small amount of salad..They don't do that anymore.. they used to be a good restaurant. Now they're just insulting their customers with a little bits of food and high prices smh. Shame on you guys!!

Hands down best Spanish food in Philly. From the appetizers to the main course absolutely amazing. If you are in the neighborhood or just in the mood for Spanish food and need a delivery this is the place to be.

Although I have visited the restaurant this time I did Uber eats. I ordered the stewed chicken. The rice was dryer than dry. The portion of chicken was little to none. The most meat I got was a half of drumstick. The rest was a bunch of chicken backs with no meat. Save yourself the trouble and go Colgate and Sanger or Robbins and Torresdale. The prices are much better and they give very generous portions. The food is actually better too. They close early at Torresdale and I don't think delivery of any kind is available at either place. The food at Spanish Island was okay as far as taste. They also would be my last resort.
My son just place an order for 2 canoas banana with meat and cheese, both banana was burnt, I dislike the food, I order from there before and it was ok, but the today was no good at all. Whoever cook knew the banana was burnt why would they sell it like that, unprofessional cooks. I'm very not satisfied with my food today.

Meh. That about sums it up. Tried this place for the first time, got a rotisserie chicken lunch special. Yellow rice was soooo bland and dry, rotisserie chicken was cold and dry, and tasted like they bought out last night's supermarket birds. Price was a dollar more than on the menu. I don't think I'll be back.
