Ugh, so sad to have *again* a really, really underwhelming experience here:1. Ordered to breakfast sandwiches and a coffee. Took 18 minutes.2. Was told after 10 minutes of waiting there were no egg whites (what I ordered) available.3. Despite the person who took my order asking (and me correcting) four times, got the order wrong -- I ordered a sesame bagel and got an everything bagel.4. My coffee was room temperature. There was only one person in line, who also waited, and whose order was also incorrect. C'mon guys -- this was a weekday at 9:30am. It shouldn't be that hard, especially for the price.

Was craving a bagel and ventured into Spread Bagelry for a Carnegie Breakfast - egg, Swiss cheese, and pastrami on your choice of bagel.Felt like a quaint local neighborhood spot and it was decently steady on the Sunday morning that I visited with plenty of people coming to dine in and those ordering/picking up to-go. I didn't think too much of the wait at first because it was busy, but after a handful of patrons had long ordered and received their food before I had, I came up to the cashier to ask about mine. I don't know if my ticket didn't show up on their screens or if it was overlooked, but i ended up waiting even longer before it was done. I apparently wasn't the only one whose order wasn't made/overlooked /lost because a gentleman who was already waiting on food when I first stepped in line experienced the same long wait. I don't know if that's a regular thing that happens or if the staff was swamped, I'm not sure.I finally got my order and even after a 10 minute walk back to my hotel, my bagel was still nice and warm. The eggs were nicely seasoned and the Swiss cheese was a nice touch, however the pastrami was slightly lacking in quantity. On the plus side though, the pastrami was delicious and the bagel overall hit the spot. All in all, not a bad place for a breakfast sandwich. It might be more on the pricey side but I think it's still worth checking out despite the experience I had.

A bagel never tasted so good. Great place to have breakfast while seeing the bagels being baked in the wood

Delicious bagels and bagel sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches but I recommend getting something with cream cheese. The cream cheese is the best texture and taste I’ve ever had (including fresh NYC and Montreal bagels). Took two containers and a half dozen for home and they travel well—I recommend steaming them first then toasting as they can get a bit hard. The picture I took is from three days later. There’s a decent amount of tables at this location but make sure to come before 11:30 as it fills up fast. Coffee is also really good, don’t miss out on the orange blossom latte.

Amazing bagels! So glad I stopped in, this will definitely be a go to whenever I’m back in the city! Friendly staff, great food and drinks, and even a place to sit in the back. Overall one of the best bagel places I’ve ever been

Apparently the staff at 20th St. can't follow simple online orders. This has happened on multiple occasions at this location. The breakfast bagels were not what we ordered, were stale and had a nasty bitter taste. We won't be ordering from Spread Bagelry again.

I ordered an egg white and turkey bacon on an everything bagel. Well the turkey bacon is so greasy that I just paid $11 for a heart attack. The bagel is soggy and definitely not like a jersey bagel. If you are hungover then order this at your own risk, but if you are trying to be health conscious this is probably not the sandwich for you.

Went on a Sunday. Waited about 45 minutes for 2 bagels. Tons and tons of online pickup orders came in and left with food while we were waiting. My lox bagel was just mixed into the cream cheese, rather than actual lox, with way too much cream cheese, a tomato slice and two pieces of onion. Definitely should not have taken that long to make. The table next to us was equally delayed getting their orders and annoyed. The bagel itself was fine. Next time would just order a bagel to go and make a sandwich at home.

Normally love this place. Today not so much. Messed up my order three times after waiting an hour plus for it. I ordered online and when I arrived 40 mins later at my scheduled pick up time I was told it would be another 20-30 mins. All I wanted was no cheese on one sandwich and I left that in the notes. 3 tries later still got messed up food. They did not seem to care at all that it was messed up three times either. Getting a bagel should not be this difficult.

Had a garlic bagel with a lime jalapeño cream cheese. Both bagel and cheese was good

Arrived at the time of pick up, was told my order wasnt ready and waited an additional 15 minutes. When I made it home with my order, I paid for extras (extra bacon on a sec and bec) and they were not on the sandwich. Tried to call to get a refund and no one picks up the phone. Not going to drive 15 minutes into the city to get an order corrected that I had to wait a total of an hour to get. It was just two bagel sandwiches nothing fancy. First and last time going here.
