Delicious bagels with many available tasty spreads.
The wooden baked bagels have a unique taste. Every one should at least try one

The best bagel I have had! I ordered the nova scramble on rosemary bagel and literally thought about ordering a dozen bagel bag to take home after but knew I didn’t have the space to travel with it. The bread was so soft and fresh. The spread was lightly whipped. They had a huge selection of bagels and a brick oven. Lots of seating for game watch events etc. I went for breakfast before heading into downtown. I will definitely be stopping by next time I visit Philly.

Such a wonderful bagelry! Very clean, and a huge selection of bagels, sandwiches and coffees to choose from. We ordered the bagels with nova lox spread as well as bagels with veggie spread and they were mega fresh and delicious. The salted caramel iced coffees we ordered were equally fresh and delicious. Spread Bagelry has a warm, inviting and chill vibe. The kids working are are mostly UPenn students and they all are warm and welcoming. Definitely go to Spread Bagelry on Walnut Street. The best people and the best service you will get anywhere. Super highly recommended!

Sandwiches are good but good luck ordering anything extra on them. They consistently forget to add onions/avocado when I ask for them but still charge me. I make it super clear but doesn't make a difference.

Order a sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. 3 other people ordered in front of me, and those 6 sandwiches took over 20 minutes to come out. The eggs and meat in my sandwich were cold by the time the guy got around to toasting the bagel. Ordered a whole wheat bagel and got an everything. Didn’t get it fixed because I didn’t have another 3 minutes to wait.

I love going here unless tall women with brown hair and glasses is working. I have never met a more disrespectful human. She blatantly ignores customers and constantly is giving people dirty looks. Makes you very uncomfortable…

Great place to do some quiet work and study! There's plenty of places to sit with books and a laptop, not that crowded/loud, and the wifi is strong and password protected.
The sandwiches are a bit pricey, so I opt for a bagel, which is reasonable. The bagels are pretty good (for context, I'm a New Yorker, so I have high standards!). I did try the Philly Special once, and it was delicious! I never thought I'd enjoy brisket on a bagel, but they made it work! I still think it could be a tad cheaper, but at least it is filling enough for me to have half for breakfast and half for lunch.
For drinks, I've had the iced chai latte, which is good. Definitely helps for staying focused/awake while working!
Overall, this is my go-to when I want to buckle down and get some work done!

Veggie bagel (sandwich) was delish!! Super nice people working, but doesn't really have that coffee shop atmosphere. Amazing regardless, would come back just for this bagel!
Vegetarian options: Only really has the one specific vegetarian bagel, but it's super good! I'm sure others can be edited to be veg as well.

Good bagel sandwiches, hostile service. The person who took my order looked like she hated her job and was angry at me for ordering.

Very thin cream cheese, not even covered. Not very good experience comparing other locations.

The bagel was a bit bread like to me. Lots of toppings but not that crunch you would expect. This could be a Philly thing vs a NY or NJ bagel. The salmon spread didn't have much
