The cheese pizza is fantastic!!! Holds up versus all of the fancy good pizza places we have in philly but with no fuss. Could not praise the staff more, they are very kind and the sort of place you want to do well. Great family business with an old school atmosphere and very good on top of that.

I found SGP totally by accident when I moved to Philly. It very quickly became my favorite pizza not just in the city but in the world. Even after moving across the country, every time I'm in town I don't leave without getting a Jalapeno Pineapple pie (I've also had family bring it with them when they visit---because it's that freaking amazing)

I've been a customer ever since I moved to the neighborhood. Every time I've visited the food has been amazing, with large portion sizes and decent prices.

The staff is always kind, and accomodating.

Would highly recommend, especially for breakfast.
