I have come to this Starbucks every morning for over a year, and I always order ahead. At times the amount of homelessness that they allow makes it impossible and unsafe to sit inside. Especially early in the morning and late at night. Despite all this, I think it is still the best Starbucks in University City.
This place we can all see gets bad reviews, So this morning I walked in out of 20 degrees, there was no one in the store, so I was locked out of my apartment for the night thought I go into the store to stay warm, and nothing else was open. So they gave me a cup of ice with an attitude, then an Asian girl, comes over and says that I can not stay in the store. So granted I had to go out in that cold for 4 hrs, and I am 61.

The vibes of it were a little chaotic (probably a little extra chaotic during my visit since it was a few hours after the Penn Engineering 2025 graduation ceremony, which is why I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 instead of a 3 out of 5), but the baristas seemed like they were slightly all over the place
