Against my better judgment, I walked into this Starbucks yesterday to grab a grande caramel brulee latte. There were 4 employees behind the counter; 1 person was making drinks, another person was calling out the names of the customer's drinks as they were completed, and the other 2 workers were down by the pastry case. I stood in line at the counter for approximately 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged and approached me to take my order. When I placed my order, I told the lack-luster attituded young man that I did not want the caramel brulee topping. I wanted the caramel drizzle instead, and asked if he would use the substitution button for my preference of caramel drizzle. He said, "yes." However, once I received my drink, sat down to drink it, and reviewed my receipt, I noticed that he charged me for my substitution anyway. I even let that go. After finishing up my drink, I asked the girl who was near the pastry bar about using the restroom, her nonchalant response was "unfortunately our bathroom is out of order." From my experience and perspective, this particular Starbucks is the worst! I rarely patronize this establishment because I experienced the same type of customer service when the Pope was into a few years ago. I will never spend my money here again.

I went to this location to redeem my birthday treat and I loved the energy of the staff who attended to me !!!! They made my drink to perfection and my sandwich was also tasty !!
Dietary restrictions: You can swap regular milk for the other variations of milk (Almond, Oat, Soy).

Good location for those downtown, those headed to Society Hill, or those in the Independence Square area. We met all 3 criteria, so it was natural for us to stop here and enjoy some coffee and rest our tired feet.

the drinks are delicious, of course. usually it’s busy and your drink may take a while to get made. the baristas are quite nice though!

There is a guy dressed in a Starbucks uniform standing at the door letting everyone know the store is infested with fruit flies and says the manager doesn't care. I thought it might just be a random guy. Order my drink and asked for their largest size. I receive a small size and they forgot the whipcream. The staff doesn't seem to care and their was liquids, coffee, and the butt of either a cigarette or a blunt on the counter. Would not recommend.

I thought it might just be a random guy. Order my drink and asked for their largest size. I receive a small size and they forgot the whipcream. DO NOT EAT/DRINK HERE SERIOUS HEALTH/SAFETY ISSUES Was visiting a friend in Philly and stopped here for coffee and a snack. The store is DISGUSTING the pastry case is full of more fruit flies than I've ever seen. Apparently one of the employees even had to be hospitalized for bug bites. My friend and I were both very ill the day after. Management needs to get on top of their sanitation issues and they needed to do so YESTERDAY. Stay away from sbux, support local businesses instead
