Mac and yams were good but the stuffed lamb was definitely old or something it was disgusting and it threw my appetite off pic on the left is what I received pic on the right is what I wanted ?

I really enjoyed my food from here . Everything was good and fresh ! 10/10 ! Give them a try …. EVERYBODY experience is different . They are young and striving .

The salmon was overcooked. rice wasn’t fresh and hard. cabbage didn’t taste like cabbage idk what seasoning were put in it but it was not good. mac and cheese tasted like velveta not baked mac just parsley sprinkled on the top. looked good but just didn’t taste good. the salmon was season well just wish it wasn’t overcooked.

After a long day of looking for soul food while pregnant, I found this place. I really wanted to love this place :( .. but I didn’t. It was eatable as my money was spent on it but the Mac, and cabbage lacked seasoning. Fish was the best thing on the plate but again wasn’t the best. Looking forward to coming back if some things could be improved as I love supporting black businesses #goodluckwithbusiness! <3

I have been patronizing this establishment for 2 years. I frequent the location off of Broad street. I am always pleased until now. I usually order the Lamb roll platter. I was very disappointed. The rolls were dry, over cooked and salty and yellow rice was salty. The yams and cabbage were fine. I traveled from Center City because the other location in West Philly was not that great. Not sure what is happening but I hope an adjustment can be made.

I ordered the lamb platter and the fried whitening and everything was awesome!! There was plenty of food and everything had so much flavor. I was skeptical because I was ordering off Uber eats but that didn’t make the fish soggy or anything. I definitely will be ordering again real soon. Sorry no pics available we dug in as soon as it arrived.?P.S. I have picky children and they LOVED the Mac and cheese ???. We found us a new soul food spot?

The food quality has declined. The crab cakes are not good. The chicken wings are not as advertised on Instagram, they’re the size of a thumb. The salmon cheese steaks rolls taste like they were pre made and sitting for awhile. The Mac & cheese is always good though!

Food was amazing! The lamb rolls and yams were my favorites. I ordered on Door dash, it came 20 minutes earlier than expected and it was still piping hot. I’ll be ordering again!

Ordered here 3 times and the food was like that every time!Customer service and wait time are huge for me and they’re top tier in both categories. TheBig fan of the wings and macaroni . The yams are more like mashed sweet potatoes and don’t look the best but they’re pretty good too.

First time ordering and I was not disappointed. Mac and cheese is amazing. Lamb rolls are similar to cheesesteak rolls but amazing. Crab cakes, chefs kiss.
