Pool table and karaoke!

Came here today and had an incredibly RUDE bartender who was not only rude to me but also my friend and partner. We came in during our fest and were immediately summoned by the bartender informing us that we couldn’t be here and play pool for free. We had the intention of having lunch in the bar today, but after being informed that we were required to be drinking in an EMPTY bar, we decided to take our business elsewhere. This bartender was the one on the first floor at 1pm on 10/12/25. Unfortunately this is also not the first time that this employee was rude to us, but as far as I’m concerned we will be recommending to everyone we know to take their business elsewhere. The goal of gay bars is to feel welcomed by people in your community, but today not only did I feel unwelcome, I felt uncomfortable in a place I used to enjoy coming to. 0/10, do not recommend coming here.

I went here to play pool and the bartender immediately asked if we were drinking and I asked if we needed to order right now and he said yes, we can’t play pool for free. He is usually rude and this is not the first time I felt this way being here.

Spent my night throwing up the food I got from this place. Along with that, the service was horrible. The scannable menu didn’t show what drinks they have and our bartender couldn’t just tell us what they had. Plus they were completely distracted having long chats with people they knew. Lastly, dead staring at someone while they choose how much to tip is very uncomfortable!

Got a burger and literally could not finish it. Not one to look down on bar food but this was pretty next level rough. First floor was pretty empty and it kind of seemed like the bartenders had their own groups of friends and/or usuals they’d rather serve. Their drink menu wasn’t on their website, (probably broken or glitched currently) when I asked our tender what they had bottled/on tap she said to check the online menu and went back to her group. Told her the menu was down, she just told me it wasn’t. Wouldn’t tell me what they had. As an ex tender I was pretty surprised.
Sticking to BikeStop.

This 1-star review reflects how bad the food and service is. I understand this is a bar first, but my food orders come out wrong half the time (not an exaggeration) and more specifically, their new tenders and fries since the new ownership are almost gross (again, not exaggerating). The food is edible, but for the price of $13-$20 for a meal I'd expect it to be enjoyable, not just edible. Tenders come out burnt (literally black) the last 2 times I've ordered them on separate occasions. The buffalo chicken options are also very disappointing; the buffalo sauce is too acidic with an odd flavor.

I really want to like this bar, but I just can't. Most of the bartenders are unfriendly, some of them are downright rude, and the drinks are usually weak.
They do karaoke regularly, which is great, but the sound system is absolutely terrible. That's not an exaggeration, it is truly god awful to the point that you can barely hear the person singing, the treble and bass are so out of whack.
You're better off going to U Bar next door.

This spot is always buzzing with friendly faces and good vibes. The themed nights keep things fresh and fun, and there’s a real sense of community. It’s a welcoming hangout for everyone.

THOSE NEW WORK SHIRTS MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I’M AT A DICK’S SPORTING GOODS. BLUE POLOS??? WHY SO PROFESSIONAL?? RUINS THE VIBE. EMPLOYEES ARE AMAZING AND SPECTACULAR AND GAVE THE BEST SERVICE. JUSTICE FOR THE EMPLOYEES. GET RID OF THE GOLF LOOKING POLOS. HOLE IN ONE I GUESS.

Unfortunately, the service at the downstairs bar left a lot to be desired. As non-regulars, we were blatantly overlooked by the bartenders multiple times, even after making direct eye contact. Meanwhile, regulars were greeted warmly and served immediately. It created an unwelcoming vibe that made this one of the worst bar experiences we’ve had. We only stayed because my wife was invited by a friend and we wanted to be supportive. Disappointing.
