Tan's finger lickin chicken

The food is excellent. But, I gave up on this place. They are only open for a few hours.They used to close at 6pm, and I would get done work at 5pm. I'd run over and order my food before they closed. Then, I'd have to wait for 30 minutes for them to cook it. They couldn't take orders from their website.Now, they close at 4pm. They are no longer an option for dinner.

Good to see that a new business would be willing to lose a customer overwearing a mask ask I will be sure to let everyone I know that does not go to places like this with mask requirements not to go it's a it's a shame because I stopped in just to try them for the 1st time.

Okay. So it was my first time here. It took over 30 minutes for my food to be finished. The food was bland. Which was a bit strange to me because it seems to be black owned. The wedges weren’t done all the way. The chicken was okay. Wasn’t the best but it was okay. Wasn’t much flavor to be honest. But the customer service was good. I give it a 3/5 because it seems to be black owned and the customer service was good. But there wasn’t any flavor, wedges weren’t cooked all the way and the 30 minute wait is a no no.

One of my favorite places to eat! Highly recommend you try the lemon pepper wings and baked mac & cheese. Food & Service is top notch !

Tan's was a great food and customer service expirence. We ordered chicken and waffles, a six piece, collards, fries, soulpanadas and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and fresh and ready in a little over half of an hour. We will absolutely be going back.

Great service, and good prices. The chicken, however, ehhhhh. Maybe it's because I ordered near the end of the day on a Sunday, but the pieces that I had (drumsticks and wings were the only pieces they had left) were really bland. Willing to give it another shot because I would like there to be a successful fried chicken place in the northeast, but first impressions weren't the best for me.

Finally a Soul food place in Northeast Philly. Food is great. Authentic and flavorful. Portions are huge. Tan's menu is vast. I ordered the smothered turkey chops, rice with gravy and greens. I have absolutely no complaints.

tried the fried chicken tonight!! Wow! can't wait to try the chicken and waffles.
