When I walked into the restaurant, I was surprised at how tiny it was but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu which was good but a little lacking in the quantity of sauce provided. I think this may be because the food is already prepared and kept hot for lunch, and I came after the typical lunch hour. The fact that it was prepared ahead of time allow me to be in and out though and the flavors were all excellent. The price was also great...
So happy they re-opened after a year-long hiatus. Super sweet owners who always have a smile on their faces. I honestly think their Pad Thai is one of the best in the city -- perfect balance of sweet & savory (some places are too sweet for me...or topped too much with peanuts). Other options are great too -- consistently delicious!
My friend and I came here because of University City Dining Days promotion. They were offering 3 courses for $15 so it seemed like a great deal. The place is pretty small and very simple. The menu had plenty of options. We tried the shrimp lemongrass soup and veggie spring rolls as starters. Both were good. The soup had a nice kick to it and good sized shrimp in it.
