In my opinion, they did a great job with the renovations. 2 floors, great sound and lights. It’s like a mini WoW with a hint of Flash in DC. If you want quiet, and a space to relax, to take a break from the music, there’s a room on the second floor. Took forever to reopen, but now I see why. 5 years in the making.

I recommend getting here EARLY or you will be waiting in a line. No re-entry.

Staffs are nice and friendly. Love the DJs. Less smoke on the dance floor is better and be careful the floor is wet from those people that can't drink and dance without spilling.

Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!Update: This review needs to be more descriptive. I always have a great time at The Barbary(excluding that one time I went and felt like headbanging and moshing instead of dancing, so I walked to The Ave). Gina and some of the other promoters have always organized awesome events since the reopening in June(Sorry, I have yet to check out Tiger Beats, Birdup, and Unicorn Party just to name a few).
