I was surprised that the gaming fee added to our bill was $6 per person ... I believe it was $2 last time I came (on a weekend). Apparently it varies based on weekday/weekend and lunch/dinner. It would have been helpful to have the gaming fee on the menu or otherwise posted. Honestly at $6 (unless you don't have a regular hours job), this place is not competitive with Queen & Rook, which offers far more games and will suggest games and even teach you the games for roughly...
This is much more affordable than Queen and Rook in terms of board game cafes. There weren't many food options that I cared for. And one of my mates that I came with got some very rubbery chicken. However they remedied that situation so service points went up. Not as many game choices as Q&R but still fun.
Wow, I love this place and definitely want to come back! The variety of games is amazing (you will find something for any group of people, or even solo). The place’s atmosphere is super cozy, too, and you can even enjoy your meal in there without playing games (you also won’t have to pay the game fee). Anyway I highly recommend the Oreo milkshake and the food is delicious!
