High expectations for this restaurant, but only the food missed the mark.

Everything was heavily salty and seasoned. The chips were homemade and complementary, which we appreciated, but they were very salty. The hamburger had a nice runny egg yolk, it was on the smaller end for patty size, the brioche bun was nicely toasted. Fingerling potatoes were heavily seasoned as well.

Forest mushroom bucatini had a great pasta, but the sauce was so salty. The cashew truffle oil did not balance the dish at all. This dish was so disappointing.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful. The garden outside was incredibly blooming in June. Though the weather is hot, the outdoor patio has umbrellas and shade. The indoors have very open window concepts. Service was really good.

Not very many seats. Reservation highly recommended on weekends. Reservations are made through resy.

Wow!! What an amazing find!! The food was fantastic, the drink of the day was delicious and refreshing, even the water they provide at your table is good. I would definitely come back for the food, and stay for the art. (Just kidding) The Barnes Foundation is class from tip to toe!! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

I’m a member, was having a nice day with my son. Waited patiently, finally told to go back outside the doors. Reservation? No, we would just like soup and dessert. You should go to the cafe for grab and go sandwiches. Seriously? Wtaf.

I ate outside in the garden. It was beautiful and much quieter than inside. The meals were delicious.

Disappointing, incredibly overpriced restaurant.
It was a beautiful day, but the hostess didn’t even try to offer us outdoor seating. When I asked for it, she made a face, went over to another employee, whispered something, then he too made a face. There were people already seated out there, & plenty of available tables. When I asked if it was a problem, she just ignored me.
We got one menu, they had to go find another? But ok. The server finally came over. A very nice person. Very personable. She brought over room temp water in a carafe & glasses with no ice.. We ordered drinks & our food. We waited sipping our warm water. Our food came out.. Wow! So mediocre bordering on just bad. Mine looked like a school cafeteria grilled cheese with a sauce made from an envelope (just add water) My husbands burger was nothing to get excited about either. And still no drinks. I got a cocktail. My husband a coke. So we had to flag someone to ask. I see our server making my drink through the windows. So out it comes, my husband’s is a can, with a glass, again, no ice. Mine taste like grape koolaid with seltzer water. Was suppose to have tequila. I don’t believe there was any in there. And it was more like a smoothie than a cocktail. By now we were just ready to go. $65 for that awful lunch. So not worth it. Do yourself a favor, on a nice day, bring a bag lunch & walk a few blocks down to the Roden & eat in their gorgeous sculpture garden,

Food was fine. Atmosphere was more like a cafeteria than fine dining. Service was terrible. We sat for 25 mins before anyone came to take our drink order- only after I flagged them down. Food came out before drinks so again needed to ask for that. Staff was kind and apologetic but no offer to right the wrong when the bill came. Will not be a return customer.

My wife and I agreed the food here was the best museum food we have had. We ate simply, with ahi appetizers and tofu/green bean sides. It was delicious. Service was excellent, and it is in a beautiful space.

A relatively good restaurant in Philly. The category here may be misleading. It is more French styled. The menu changes so frequently. Duck breast, chicken liver mousse, gelato, and lamb are all good. The amazing restaurant located near the amazing artworks!

Beautiful garden view, service is good, but the food is awful. My salad tasted like soaked in only white vinegar. French toast was chargrilled burnt. Guatemala was tasteless, not even tasty salt. Money wasted.
