This coffee house began the saving of my Philadelphia experience. I was having a hard time, as a visitor, finding the city I needed to find. I'd been guided to Rittenhouse Square, can't think why. And everything was hot. Too hot. Too hot to enjoy wandering. So when I came across this place it was just what I needed. relaxed, comfortable, friendly service, not corporate. No one didn't want to be there. When I went in this door it gave me a chance to cool...
Nice local coffee house which opens early. Had there a coffee few times during my stay in Philly. Vintage authentic atmosphere and a small area in the basement. By supporting such unique local owned places you prevent them from being swallowed by Starbucks
Cold brew is good and the place is old style and cozy.
Cakes are pretty wrapped and in the fridge and the guy did not even asked to warm it. Carrot cake was super dry and crumbly
