Ordered takeout and I FINALLY think I've found my go-to Indian food 😊👌🏼 The naan is amazing, as is the palak paneer, definitely my favorite dish. Also had butter chicken and chicken vindaloo. I know, not super adventurous but ordering familiar dishes is how I decide if I like the food or not. I'll try different items next time. Mango lassis were nice and thick, yum. Omg the veggie samosas, yum! We really loved every bite. We also loved the spice level! While "medium Indian spicy" didn't wreck us, it was a perfect level of spice. We can't wait to dine-in, the patio looks so cute.

This place was very promising however it was anything but. My reservation on Valentine's Day was at 6:30pm, table for two. We arrived and sat down. Now around the time we came in the restaurant was fairly empty with about two other couples already eating dinner. Another couple comes in and sits down and someone comes to take their order 5 minutes after they are seated. 10 minutes later someone comes to take our order. Other couples start to make their way in and now the resurant is full. Everyone is ordering food and getting their appetizers before we do, now it's around 7pm and we get our appetizer (which was really good “Lamb Samosas”) 20 minutes later couples who have entered the restaurant well after us are receiving their entrees and our waiter says it's about a 10 minute wait for our food. We did not receive our food within that 10 minutes. It is now around 7:40 and we call our waiter and ask him can we take our food to go because we have somewhere to be at 8. Our waiter seems frustrated with our request but says he will pack it up. We receive our packed up dinner 20 minutes later and we pay for the food and leave. We left this place hungry and disappointed in the customer service.

My husband and I regularly get takeout from this spot, and it never disappoints. The lamb biryani and chilli chicken are particularly outstanding, always bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for anyone seeking delicious, high-quality Indian food!

Of note, they do not have Coke products. There was an issue with our order- something forgotten- and one of the staff yelled at another staff member and that was upsetting. The noise level was low except for the same staff that yelled being very loud on the phone.

We love coming to the Palace of India. We went there for Father's Day to celebrate and had a wonderful time. The waiters are so friendly and helpful in making recommendations. They also have a beautiful outdoor backyard space for dining outside . The food is delicious and I really mean delicious. Highly recommend.
