The Palace of the Indian Restaurant is amazing — easily the best Indian spot in Philadelphia. The Chicken Tikka Masala is out of this world: rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Great service, cozy vibe, and consistently delicious food. A must-visit!
If you're only getting takeout from here, you're really missing out. My wife and I swear that the food is twice as good served fresh from the kitchen. Sitting in the window watching the Singing Fountain is awesome. You don't need reservations, as it's usually not too crowded. The samosas are delicious, the garlic naan is a must, and tonight I branched out from my normal extra hot lamb Vindaloo (amazeballs) and tried the lamb Rogan Josh. Holy F! That sauce was...
Outdoor patio and BYO! Great spot for Indian cuisine and the servers are always nice and attentive. The patio out back is a hidden gem on Passyunk Avenue for anyone wanting to enjoy some quiet outdoor seating. Picture is from the patio.
