A great spot right off of the square. If you can be by the big window, it’s a great space to relax and people watch. The curry was really good, and medium was a very tasty, but not too intense spice level. The service was good and our food came out quickly.
Our favorite place in South Philly. The food is wonderful. Cozy inside dining, with great view of the square, and super unique outside dining, with signature Philadelphia mosaic murals that will blow your mind. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I always treat ourselves with a full feast of Palace of Indian, and then sit at the fountain out front under the twinkle lights. Couldn’t ask for a better date night spot:)
Quaint spot in heart of Passyunk with a nice outdoor patio space when weather permits. We ordered to-go and it is one of the best Indian we’ve had in the city with decent portions. We ordered Naan sampler (garlic is best, always), lamb kebabs (medium, cooked to perfection), butter chicken (American medium, perfect flavor, tender), and chicken dopiaza (medium - bit of heat for me but perfect for my husband). We had to wait a bit because they were busy and they gave us a rice...
