We always order take out directly from tiffin and it's always fast and consistent! They are always so kind and you can earn t coins from ordering directly! And it's cheaper to order direct - I recommend this place for the great food consistently!!

Ordered delivery and tried the chicken tikka and butter chicken (both spicy). The heat level was decent, but unfortunately the chicken itself was dry and tough—definitely not the tender, juicy texture you’d expect from these kinds of curries. The flavors also felt pretty one-dimensional; more “hot” than truly flavorful or complex.

We also received only one piece of naan for $6, which was surprising and disappointing. At that price, I expected a more reasonable portion. In addition to that it was bland and had poor texture.

Finally, we ordered two mango lassis, and both tasted spoiled—extremely sour and unpleasant. To make matters worse, they had spilled all over the bag and other food by the time they arrived, which suggests the packaging for drinks isn’t secure.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience

Tiffin is 100% my go to place South Asian cuisine in South Philly. If it’s one thing I can say about Tiffin is that the food is consistently good without fail. It’s seasoned to perfection and the chicken is always cooked thoroughly.

Ordered Chicken Tikka in the past and was too sweet so I decided to get Malai Kofta hoping it was better. I think their chef loves to just dump sugar into all the curries. So disappointing since flavor is good but the sweetness makes it almost unedible

Tiffin has literally the best house curry I have ever had in my life. I order it with both veggies and paneer (but I'm vegetarian). I cannot recommend this dish highly enough. I might actually be addicted.

The best place to get Indian food for takeout or catering. Super helpful over the phone. They deliver in reuseable containers. The only restaurant in Philly that does this. Amazing.

Food was excellent and spicy. Restaurant looked nice inside and it was not crowded.

Counter staff was very nice and the food was served hot.

I found it to be a bit expensive, and the online ordering through their website was a bit difficult. The checkout process failed twice on my phone, and I had to log onto my laptop to complete the order. Their site also sent me a bunch of followup emails, personally I'd recommend just calling in an order and paying in person to save yourself some trouble.

Ordered from uber eats. The chicken tikka was weirdly sweet like the put actual sugar into it. The mango lassi spilled in the car, soaked the bottom of the paper bag so when I picked it up at my apartment it exploded. Please package better.

I love tiffin so much and I love their sustainability options!! Everything is wonderful from the meat choices to the vegan dishes it’s really good food.

I have only ordered Tiffin (South Philadelphia) for delivery, but it has become my go-to option for Indian delivery. They have terrific specials (in fact, I wish they would bring back their lunch special), and their Saag Paneer and Baingan Bharta are consistently excellent.

dine-in service is great the staff are attentive the food is god-sent and their takeout is excellent. recently got their “spices of love” valentines deal and it was amazing , portions are generous too
