We visited Love Park Christmas village needed a place to warm up and have a cocktail. Visited this Irish Pub. Decided to have dinner the food was incredible. Pricing is super fair for the city. I recommend the Shepherds Pie.
Tir na nOg is a quintessential Irish pub I've enjoyed in various ways: first as a patron, briefly as a barback, and now as a regular customer again. It's an excellent spot for sports fans, with TVs placed throughout the space, ensuring a great view no matter where you sit. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming—a big part of why I joined the team at one point. The food is fantastic for its category, with standout dishes like the smash burger, fish tacos, and fish and chips. The bartenders are knowledgeable and approachable, and while my liquor knowledge is limited, their whiskey selection appears extensive and well-curated. I always go for a Guinness here, and they pour a perfect pint every time—it's clear they take pride in keeping their taps and beer lines clean. Conveniently located near Suburban Station, the pub's atmosphere is bright and inviting, with big windows that set it apart from the typical dimly lit pub. The crowd is an interesting mix of European charm and Philly’s no-nonsense, down-to-earth vibe, making it a place where everyone feels welcome. The space is also large, with plenty of seating at the bar or tables, making it ideal for groups. If the weather cooperates, the outdoor seating is another great option. Tir na nOg opens early for soccer fans and is lively during big matches. Whether you're a local or visiting Philly, this pub offers an excellent combination of good food, drinks, and a warm sense of community at a fair price. I'll keep returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming and authentic pub experience.
Great spot for Buffalo Bills game! We arrived at 12:30pm for the 1pm game and the bar was packed for the Chelsea game (it’s also a Chelsea supporters bar). We were standing around at the front waiting to be seated and there was no host in sight. A server finally stopped by after 45 minutes to let us know that they would seat us once the Chelsea game was done. The Chelsea game finished at 1:15pm and everyone spilled out shortly after.
The bar was very short staffed - the servers were running around the entire time cleaning tables, serving orders, etc. It’s unfortunate that they were set up for failure by management considering there was going to be a large turn out of people for the Bills & Chelsea game. We eventually sat ourselves since people started to walk in and sit down at tables.
That aside, the wings were great and it was a nice atmosphere for a Bills game. Tons of Bills fans, probably 100+. There were plenty of TV’s and 2 projectors playing the game.
Annoying that we had to stand for an hour without any direction from the staff. Again, I blame management and not the servers. Hopefully future games are more organized if there are no Chelsea games on the same day.

Sami really knows her scotch! She recommended me a delightful speyside to pair with my fish and chips. And Hunter poured me the best Guinness in Philly. An absolute creamer!

We stopped by for happy hour and loved it! The shepherds pie and Flatbread were both amazing, easy to share between two people. The drinks were very good. Our waitress was sweet and helped us even switch tables since ours was wobbly. We loved sitting outside as well. Will definitely be back and we loved happy hour pricing!
