Very busy, mediocre service, tiny area to order and not many places to sit but it is nice to have a coffee shop at bok

Skimps on cold brew as if the extra 2oz is going to hurt their bottom line. Been in Philly for over 10 years and this is the only place I’ve experienced this. Further, there’s this one girl I believe usually on weekends who is passive aggressive and selectively nice to people, which is just so petty. I should say there are some awesome friendly people working there too but unfortunately I always run into that (Hispanic) girl. No thanks I’ll just stick to the bakery and make the trek to another cafe. Bummer because this place is so close.

I feel like a Karen writing this, but I think it’s important to note… I took a picture of the coffee shop because it’s so nicely done and I part of my job is documenting and reviewing new, cool spaces I go to. I didn’t zoom in on anything just snapped a quick shot of the place as it’s pretty small where you order. One of the baristas proceeded to put their hands in front of their face and scolded me in front of all the other customers saying that I needed to please ask for permission before I take pictures of them. I apologized immediately and deleted the photo. They then seemed reluctant to serve me and my husband after. I always obviously want to respect people’s boundaries and I would never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable but it was said with such anger and loud enough that I can’t help but think it was to embarrass me. It would be helpful if there was some sort of signage that asked people not to take photos. I let them know I would delete the photo and they all said “thank you” in unison so I’m pretty sure no photos are allowed. I was just shocked and I obviously feel bad for putting someone in that position. But I’m also sad I paid $10 for a coffee and had to end up getting it takeaway because I got my hand slapped by the barista and was too awkward to sit down.

I like the vibe but I got a mocha and it literally just tasted like cocoa powder and milk

They've done a great job with this space - plenty of seating, good coffee, and beautiful decor make it a great place to sit, chat and enjoy time together with loved ones. They don't do any complicated/specialty coffee drinks, just basic espresso based options and coffees, but they're all well done.

Tucked inside a bustling establishment of pop-up style stores, this is a quick and easy coffee stand. The menu was standard and limited. Service was quick. But really you come here for the space itself. There were tons of people sitting about doing work on laptops, as well as people passing through to explore the various shops. Worth exploring but wouldn't necessarily come here for the coffee shop itself.

Two Persons is an excellent local coffee shop. They constantly rotate the beans they use, allowing you to try something new each time you go. The staff is friendly and efficient.

AL is legit one of the best baristas I’ve ever had in any coffee shop in the US. Very knowledgeable about the coffees and always nice. Also I love the cheese danish. Also the vibe is always nice even when the chaos of machine shop.

Really delicate and fluffy cappuccino with oat milk (espresso w/milk). The ceramics they serve these in are also very beautiful. The space is great to hang out and work in. Lots of seating, natural light, and this cafe is connected to an amazing bakery next door.

Dietary restrictions: they offer oat milk alternative

In the infamous Bok Building, Two Person represents an essential coffee experience in Philadelphia. Paired with the awesome setting of the former school’s machine shop and the bakery right next door, any visitor should anticipate a very special experience. This is the perfect pairing of vibe and excellent coffee.
