Second Daughter Artisanal Bakery is a delicious bakery located on the 4th floor of the Bok Building, with a small storefront at the opening to their immaculate kitchen. The natural light adds to the light and airy feeling. It is so delicious, just on the pricier side. The pastries are fresh, buttery, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Customers can really taste the quality and care. Crullers, Cookies, and Brownies are all delicious. The Oreo fudge brownie was the best brownie from a bakery in the city. The chocolate babka bun and mushroom pastry are both so so good. The cheddar and herb scone is tasty, nicely salted, and buttery. However, don't be deceived by the hours; this place is often out of stock well before closing. Arriving just two hours after opening on a weekday may leave only a cookie and five brownies. Be sure to get there early for a bigger selection. There is also a cute seating area. The owner is lovely and talented, offering the most indulgent treats and the best service. Absolute perfection.
