Creative menu and very attentive service. Every dish we had was top notch. Rutabaga fondue with a pretzel, mushroom carpaccio, spicy Dan Dan noodles and blackened tofu were among our favorite dishes. Every dessert was excellent too. Must go here!
Vedge is a fantastic rare upscale vegan spot, that offers a unique dining experience. Everything we ordered was amazing, and we really loved the charred broccoli. The service was excellent, and the food comes out really fast. The only slight negative is the small portion sizes, but it’s par for the course for restaurants like this. Overall, highly recommend!
We had a fabulous dinner and everything was wonderful. The highlight was definitely the Biko Brûlée. It had to be one of the best desserts we have ever had!!
Order the entire menu. It’s that good and you can’t go wrong. Many incredible vegan restaurants use fake meats to recreate classic dishes- not Vedge. At Vedge, you get pure vegetable creativity. It is a really spectacular meal.
This is about as good as it gets for upscale vegan food. And the cookbook is worth getting too!
Experienced a wonderful dinner of 6 courses. Hands down my favorite was the rutabaga fondue. Highly recommend
Amazing combination of ambiance and flavor tantalizing the senses… (smaller portions, unique tastes)
While visiting Philadelphia, we celebrated my husband's birthday in style at Vedge. The ambiance is both upscale and homey. It's a splurge, so be aware that the portions are small: the idea is that you'll get 2-3 items per person. The broccolini and miso butter (appetizer) and the flan-like dessert were our faves. But we ate up everything!
The service is well above any other restaurant from start to finish. The waiter and staff are able to articulate every dish, every ingredient to the detail while you enjoy your journey through fine dining food. We chose the prix fix Vegan tasting menu that consisted of 5 courses all amazing and very flavorful. I encourage everyone to sample at least once while visiting Philly.
I ate here two years ago and still think about it. Such great food and great ambiance.

If you think vegan food is just salads, Vedge will prove you so wrong. This spot serves up mind blowing, vegan dishes with serious flavor. Must-Try Dishes: • Rutabaga Fondue – Creamy, smoky, and perfect with soft pretzels. • Campfire Carrots – Charred, juicy, and paired with tangy lentils. • Spicy Dan Dan Noodles – Savory, spicy, and totally addictive.
I had such a wonderful experience eating at Vedge. Went on a Wednesday night and it was completely packed. Clearly a popular spot. I had the tasting menu (and was grateful they let me since normally they want the whole table to order) I was expecting small plates but I swear each course seemed to get bigger and bigger. Loved everything I ate!
This is a must try if you are into elegant, plant based dining. Small plates and expensive but very much worth the experience! Highly recommend getting the tasting menu. 6 courses which were all creative and so, so, so delicious. 10/10 experience and can't wait to go back next time I'm in Philly!
delicious! 😋 and very friendly, accommodating waitstaff. what a delight!
This was easily the best vegan restaurant in the country when it opened 12 years ago, and honestly, it's probably still holding that crown. The way they highlight and manipulate vegetables is simply unlike anywhere else and will open your mind to the possibilities of vegan cuisine. And it's amazing that this quality of food is so affordable. They could easily charge twice as much if this restaurant were in a lot of other cities. Big W for the Philly restaurant scene.
