Vedge is truly exceptional.

The food was amazing from start to finish. Every dish felt thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. It was one of those meals that leaves you completely satisfied without feeling heavy. The flavors were vibrant and balanced, and each plate felt creative yet comforting at the same time.

The drinks were excellent as well. Creative, well crafted, and a perfect complement to the food.

What really elevated the experience was the service. It was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever feeling intrusive. The staff clearly care about what they’re serving and about making sure guests have a memorable experience.

An incredible meal all around. I can’t wait to go back.

This was hands-down one of the best (vegan) dinners I’ve ever had. We couldn’t decide what to order, so we chose four items from the main menu to share—and it turned out to be the perfect decision! The dishes were largely vegetable-based, and I’m still amazed by how creative and flavorful the kitchen’s approach was. The staff and service were outstanding, and the atmosphere was superb. If you’re in Philadelphia, don’t miss this place—you won’t regret it! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-07

We typically come just once or twice a year for special occasions but it’s always fantastic. We have had Daisy as our server twice and she is outstanding. So kind. They always acknowledge if you are here for an occasion and make it feel special. I hope they treat their staff well cause they are all fabulous. Food is always excellent!!

Such a fantastic spot. I love vegan a vegetarian cuisine that doesn’t offer you a bunch of attempts at fake meats but rather lets the vegetables stand on their own.

We did the tasting menu and the consommé and the mushrooms were the absolute stand outs. The tofu dish was a little disappointing but not enough to detract from the exceptional meal.

It's very good, but it used to be absolutely fantastic. Mushroom dishes are very good, but used to be amazing. Great service and drinks.

The ambiance is very chic with quiet music and singing conversations. The hostess was so pleasant and warm, she offered a coat check which made seating even more comfortable. I decided to eat out alone but I never felt lonely with servers checking on me as they passed down the aisles. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the New Year's Eve (NYE) tasting. There was an option to have an alcoholic pairing but because I am going out after I decided to stick to a mocktail instead. The food started out with bite sized snack portions and got increasingly larger. Everything paired well together and had its own unique flavor. I'm not a fan of mushrooms, though they were delicious they still had their mushroom texture so those weren't for me. The fritter had a crispy outside and soft inside. Delightful and light way to start the meal. The charcuterie board was savory. The avocado with fennel piperade was my favorite of the set but each piece had its place. The fondue was delicious and salty. I was looking forward to the soft pretzel as I saw many of them pass my table. It was everything I was craving, soft warm and comforting. The winter salad was fresh and filling because of the lentils hidden under the greens. The fregola pesto was fantastic and warm, but it wasn't my favorite because of the button mushrooms. I am saying this as someone who just doesn't like the texture, the flavor was perfect. The grilled tofu was smoky and had the texture of a steak. I don't know how they achieved that flavor and texture combo but it really was the star of the savory menu items! Che dau trang beignet was a bite of pure decidance. The Mirror cake was rich. I love the grape jam that was paired with this slice of cake. I would do this again next year if I'm still in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

Went there for my partner's birthday dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and super accommodating of our daughter and her stroller. The food.... phenomenal. I'm not vegan/vegetarian and enjoyed everything we ordered. The BBQ carrots may have been my favorite. Although the corn fritters and stuffed avocado we're just as amazing.

I’d give Vedge around a 7.5 out of 10. The food was good, but I wasn’t really wowed overall. The highlights were the rosemary ice cream and the mushroom carpaccio, both of which were creative, complex, and delicious. Given the large number of rave reviews and praise, I was hoping the other dishes would be similarly impressive. Hopefully, I’ll have a different experience next time.

First time, we enjoyed the experience. We would have desired a bigger portion for the pice we paid and also more of a variety outside of the month’s special.

The host was extremely unwelcoming. We arrived after walking outside in a snowstorm for over ten minutes with our two small children—one of whom was asleep, while the other (an infant) began crying briefly upon seeing the host. She cried for approximately one minute. During that time, the host chose to seat us at a table isolated from the rest of the restaurant, placing us behind the coat rack (see attached photos).

The host did not offer to take our coats or assist with our stroller. Meanwhile, we observed him providing this assistance to every other guest who entered the restaurant. This was especially noticeable given that we were seated directly behind the coat rack.

The baby stopped crying almost instantly after we were seated and settled.

My husband took me to the Vedge yesterday 12/19 to celebrate my 55th birthday. Well, we were both very impressed. Upon entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted by Alex. She escorted us to our table. We sat in an intimate space table of two. A beautiful chandelier hanged above us; & the fire place was very cozy & enhanced the ambiance. My heart smiled as I noticed the balloons tied to our chairs & the personalized menus that read HAPPY 55TH BIRTHDAY MARVINA. Our server Joseph was, kind, engaging & very personable with a pleasant smile. He provided a nice decorative mason jar w/water for my beautiful flowers 💐provided by husband. Joseph was thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu items & his recommendations were spot on. We started with Smoked Portobello Mushroom Carpaccio they were delicious. I almost order a second round lol. For our entrees, I decided on the Dan Dan Noodles & my husband opted for the Eggplant braciole; along with a Tis The Season mocktail. We both were extremely pleased with the flavors, textures & portion size. For dessert my husband ordered the Dutch apple cheesecake & I received a complimentary Mint chocolate ice & it was absolutely delicious. Our dining experience was a huge hit!!! Thank you Vedge for making my birthday an A-MAZ-ING & enjoyable one. The manager Eddie greeted us at the conclusion of our experience asking how was our experience. We will certainly be returning soon & will tell others as well. Lastly the drive from DE was definitely worth it.
