The coffee and pastries are great….BUT, the service and environment was extremely uncomfortable. The employees who serviced me were too busy carrying on with way inappropriate conversations and the one male behind the counter literally smacked the young lady’s behind and groped her. It’s obvious they are dating or whatever, but in the workplace, especially in front of customers, it’s a NO FOR ME! It seems like this younger generation has no sense of true customer service. I will not be returning

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The food is so good I make sure to visit every time I'm in town. The music is always great as well as conversation with employees and fellow customers. Definitely check Volo out!
Coffee is okay at best, very weak and mostly sweet. $17 for two small coffees that are just “okay,” with no verbal mention of up charge for oatmilk, it’s a bit obscene. It’s hard to imagine this will be sustainable with such strong competitors like Artesano (highly recommend!) right down the street.

I ordered latte and two hot chocolate to myself and for my friends.They gave my latte and two hot chocolate cold especially i did ask kindly to them make again finally they prepared two hot chocolate like as supposed to be HOT! But to me they gave DECAF coffee instead of latte.Also cashier behavior wasn't friendly She was looking to me like ,i am the one prepared wrong orders.They gotta fix their attitude with customer and pay more attention to what they order i hope they can get feedback as a improve customer service.

Good coffee, good food and atmosphere. Coffee is a bit overpriced ($7.50 for a latte) and there are no rewards. Most small cafe's have some sort of rewards programs for coffee (ie buy ten get one free). No electrical outlets on the main floor. Other that that, great cafe.

This is my go-to lunch spot when in Manayunk. I LOVE their avocado toast (basic, I know). Stacked mile-high with veggies on a crusty slice of thick sourdough, it’s my favorite item on their menu. I don’t love their iced coffee (way strong, and I love strong coffee), their drip is consistent.
