Very nice experience prior to the concert. We ate at the bar. The drinks and food were very good, we were very satisfied in the quality and flavors of the octopus, zucchini and salad. All tasty items. It is a shame that it is closing. Best of luck to everyone.

We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. Our first time at Volver. I'm so sorry to hear that are closing. What a beautiful spot, delicious food and great customer service. Our host, Hector was amazing! Thank you for the complimentary champagne toast.

Dined at this establishment for my partner’s birthday & it was a great experience! The manager, Evelyn, was an EXCELLENT host and helped to make the night special. The atmosphere & staff were top tier; although, the food left a little to be desired. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

Our hanger steak entree was very good -- well-prepared, nice seasoning, & done as requested. But the 1st course charcuterie board & zucchini bread were disappointing. No garden salad offered, only an overly ambitious salad & specialized appetizers (like octopus). Limited, but good, wine list. Excellent service, but kitchen was a bit slow. We arrived just after 6pm & barely made it on time to the concert at 8. It was convenient, tho, dining at the same venue.

Pretty nice place. The staff was great. Some were awesome and some were so-so. For example dumpling soup was 5/10 so as the chocolate dessert (the one I got in the hospital was same or maybe even a little better. But rinds and chicken were spot on!

Love this place but put 3 stars for service because I belatedly realized their prix fixe menu is really a disadvantage. If you get the octopus app and the cioppino you end up paying more for the prix fix than by ordering a la carte! Makes you feel taken advantage of. I trust places of such high caliber to not do things like this.

Burrata toast and grilled octopus always good. Restaurant was out of all sparkling wine. The bar mixes a good martini with a curated selection of interesting gin. Table service is disappointing. Server disappeared for long periods. I had to get up and ask another server for refills and to order second course.

Classy place inside the Kimmel Center; convenient if you're attending a concert in Marian Anderson Hall. Nice cocktail menu and wine selections. The food was very delicious with wonderful uses of spices and rich flavors. The service was attentive and overall a friendly, relaxed vibe.

Food is very good, but make sure you choose your reservation time wisely. We had a Fri 7:15p reservation and their was a show that evening. They were obviously understaffed, but a 45 minute wait to even put in drinks is absurd. Even pre-show diners were stressed to make their seats. Unfortunately put a damper on our date night, even with a fantastic cioppino and lamb dish. With our patience, we hoped they’d at least comp drinks. Wouldn’t recommend unless attending a performance at Kimmel center.

Delicious food, beautiful ambience and excellent service! We had the grilled octopus which was amazing and the potatoes were a great compliment in texture. The Lamb was juicy and tender and my friend had the cioppino which was our first time trying the fish, and we both loved it including the sauce.

This place was a pre-paid add-on to a show we had later, and it was delicious! The servers were amazing, and the chairs were cute!

Disappointing. Beware the "pre-theater" menu. After we'd already ordered, the server told us we would be paying a la carte prices. It is only available for people who have a ticket/dinner package. The food was overpriced. The table was so wobbly I had to hold it steady while my elderly guest cut up her chicken. The server said it couldn't be fixed.

Stunning experience beginning to end. Every bite (and sip) was delectable. My wife and I enjoyed the board, octopus, hangar steak, and chicken, as well as the Portuguese red blend. Chris, our server, was engaging, professional, and helpful, and added to our wonderful evening. All FOH staff helped create a perfect dining environment. Sorry to hear that Volvér will be leaving the Kimmel Center. It is a true gem. Many thanks to all for one of the best meals we have enjoyed in many years.

I had the tasting menu before a show and it was definitely worth it! The grilled octopus was well balanced and cooked, and even more fresh with the lemon. The presentation was excellent and conveyed the expectation of delicious food to follow. My favorite may have been my dessert which was an elevated Swiss roll - the salted caramel sauce was incredible and the cake itself was nice and light. The cocktails were also well balanced and offered a nice variety of seasonal flavors! Overall an excellent start to an evening of theater.
