The owners are so nice and very welcoming. It’s a nice atmosphere when I get off work and I want to relax and get a drink. They run a very tight ship and is well expected and I appreciate that. Usually I am uncomfortable around people and I never got that vibe from them. I will definitely be going back as usual and hopefully they don’t never leave me.

They used to be a good place to go and have a good meal but now they only sell alcohol and the place stinks sometimes but the owners are really good people

Get ur food and get away from here, bullets are always flying around this area even with the police district right up the street. The food is nice the service is okay, can't say I had anything special from here and years.
Coldest beer in Southwest Philly plus good food with excellent customer service

I live down the street from this place... at one time I use to eat here every Saturday, it used to be a lovely place to eat friendly well mannered waitresses and delicious food with a late night window for sandwiches and snacks just a all around beautiful atmosphere....Now they don't sell nothing but alcoholic beverages ( and it's sold through a open window you can't even enter the building) and the people who work there are so rude you don't even want to stop to deal with the bad attitudes. So sad this place could be a historical landmark for SW Philly but it's going to take a total make over to become what it was before.
I used to work here for years the original owners and employees were the best now it’s just a nasty can with the rudest people I’m so happy I don’t work there no more
Woodland Village is kinda in the heart of the Southwest Philly ghetto. Used to be a solid blue class neighborhood, but over the years has deteriorated and the restaurant went along with it. As a kid, our family always went to Woodland Village. My family is a thrifty bunch, and we always dug on the diner-sized portions and solid American style fare. My grandparents don't do "ethnic" food... so this was one of their favorite places. I don't know if I've just gotten pickier over the years, or what, but now I wouldn't eat there unless I was really desperate. I'll always have fond memories of the many meals shared there, but memories they shall stay, because dimly lit, moderately clean restaurants in bad neighborhoods don't have enough appeal to make me risk getting mugged.
I haven't had woodland village breakfast in 20 years idk....
Ok here we go,no more food being served, only beer, cooler s
