The staff have always been a huge part of the reason I tolerate World Cafe’s *many* shortcomings as a venue—the staff have always been warm, welcoming, and extremely good at their jobs. Meanwhile, the exodus of several long-term and higher-up employees speaks VOLUMES about the new leadership. Shame on WCL for firing people for speaking out about *not getting paid*. Shame on this venue for treating its staff and artists so poorly. Avoid this place if you care about the American worker.
Trying to sue former employees for walking out in protest of not being paid for their labor. Absolutely vile
Fantastic venue! I can personally vouch for the 500 section which had the most amazing bartender/waitress combo ever. Also got escorted to my seat which was nice. Beautiful sightlines and sound. In a lovely part of Philly. check it out!!

Great music! Cafe is a lacking a little.....
This place is incredible! It's the perfect intimate setting for some delicious food, tasty drinks, and good live music! I got the lavender blueberry lemonade, as well as the short ribs. The staff were great, they were very attentive and all pitched in to check up on us. We will definitely be back!
Small venue, great seating on floor, good sound, food you have to go upstairs, beer selection is small
Saw Forest Blakk here last week and it was amazing. Small venue feel with real concert sound. Easy to find but I did take Uber to avoid trying to find parking in the rain. Real cool place to see shows. Go, you'll have a great time!
Might have been a fluke, but the acoustics at the last concert were terrible. Was on the lower level and the sound was amped waaaay too high. Painfully loud distortion that made the vocals unintelligible. The only enjoyable parts of the songs were the guitar solos. The set actually sounded better in the lobby, where I waited for the rest of my fed up group.
Oh my gosh!! What a great place to see a show. It's very wide and narrow. This means every seat is a good one. I reserved a table because I am old and hate standing at shows. The drinks are a great value, not ridiculously overpriced.
Great place for live music of all genres! Great food and service as well!

Best music I've ever heard. One of a kind experience.
Been wanting to check this place out for a few years and finally did!! Good atmosphere. The food!!! You will not be disappointed. Good service. The live music!!! A really good night out
A attended a concert here with friends. It was certainly a good time. Drinks are potent & staff are very friendly. So reserve a table with friend & just be OWT!
Love this venue! The acoustics are great. Nice for an intimate show - can be on the floor or seated on the mezzanine. Also a standing section in the bar area in back. Great shows I’ve seen here!
Top talent performing in a cavernous room, hard chairs that are very uncomfortable, odd layout spatially, watered down drinks, staff seem a little aloof. I've been here many times to see musical acts, the space is okay, close to public transit and 30th street station Amtrak, however rideshare dropoffs can be tricky with oncoming traffic, ultimately not my favorite destination
