Yesterday was my first visit there. First, there was a sign indicating an invitation to use their back patio. I didn't know which way to access the patio so naturally I walked around to the other (wrong) side of the building searching for the back patio. I was met by two locked doors. I then walked down the path then around the front of the store and then I went in the other direction.... kept going... looking for the patio and found it in the back of the building where I placed my order. I was disappointed that there was no sugar-free ice cream but they had a vast array of cones. Then, I had to walk to another window to pick up my ice cream cone. The ice cream was really, really good though the prices were steep yet they asked for a tip in addition to the steep prices. Even with that, however, I will return. I was impressed that they were open in the middle of a rainy, cloudy Sunday afternoon. Their serving the ice cream cone in a little container was a cute addition.

We went here for an Ice Cream Date. This was our first time here. The girl at the window was very short and curt in her answers. We asked for a sample before we purchased, she said we don't give out samples. Also it's outdoor, no indoor seating. Because of her attitude and the fact we couldn't sample what we never had before, we won't be retuning. We went to Jannah's Ice Cream where they are Black Owned, Plenty of Flavors, Sample Different items and the atmosphere was pleasant

I really appreciate that Zsa's always has several vegan scoops available, as well as creative flavors - the vegan cookie butter is a favorite! It's also awesome that they're open fairly late, especially in the summer.

My husband and I took our grandson to Zsa’s for a special ice cream treat. Our almost 5 year old got a spooky dark cone with cookie dough ice cream, my husband got the same crunchy delicious cone and chocolate sorbet, and I was thrilled with my apple caramel ice cream. So good!! The staff was so helpful too. They helped us clean up sticky hands and a happy, ice cream smudgy face!!

I think of your blueberry buttermilk ice cream at least once a week. I love this place.

The best ice cream in Philly, hands down! Delicious flavors and treats galore! There's always something new to try and lots of classic favorites elevated by premium ingredients. You can't go wrong with a Zsaffle - a hot Belgian Waffle topped with your fave ice cream flavor - don't sleep on the Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk. And be sure to pop by during the winter season for Peppermint Bark! A holiday tradition for sure!

Kid-friendliness: They have a little free library on site dedicated to kid's books.

The best ice cream I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of ice cream. So many good flavors, but the Toasted Graham Cracker, Brown Butter Pecan, and Black Magic are my top 3.

Their ice cream pies are worth every penny! And I don’t even like sweets. Love the new mural too!

well, came here after Bredenbeck served me thee worse ice cream known to Chestnut Hill.
I had to walk. I arrived to the tallest sloped over sunflowers I've ever seen and had to limbo under them to get to the back. In that process I fell back into a DEATH DROP position. I was okay until the view above me was just plants looking down on me, the way they looked at me was almost as if they did it on purpose.

(this picture was taken from on the ground in a death drop position)

Delicious ice cream, (the salted caramel is incredible!) but something is missing to round out the experience. Maybe it’s the lack of seating. Maybe its the standing in a driveway. Maybe it’s the cold manner in which all the sliding windows close on you. Maybe it’s the limited napkins provided, no bathroom, almost friendly service. Maybe. We go regularly, will return, would recommend, but it still should be friendlier, more welcoming, more community oriented. Sadly, it’s not.
