Found this place via a Reddit page because I was looking for AYCE crab legs. Liberty Union did not disappoint! The crabs came hot, fast, and delicious while my husband thoroughly enjoyed his “blue shroom” burger. Our server, Jen, was just the best! Fast, friendly, and professional. The runners were also top notch. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed Liberty Union. I got the all you can eat crab legs dinner. They were super fresh and cooked to perfection. New plates of crab legs came fast. My friends meals looked really good too. Recommended.

It's okay. The meat tastes cheap but the vibes are fun and the beer is good.

Edit March 2026 Not sure what happened. Last 2 visits bartender was slow and didn’t clean bar before we sat down. Food was bland. Service was slow. Hope they get back to their great service.
Great local bar and restaurant. Food is always good and staff is friendly. Would highly recommend.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered take out from here about a week ago.
French Onion soup - this was good, but I bet it wouldve tasted much better if we ate in person
Tator tots - holy crispyness. It somehow stayed crispy even though we ordered take out. The sauce was really good
Wings - these were fine
We’ll definitely be back to try some of the food in person. The staff seemed quite friendly from the short time I was there.

I dont typically write reviews but this was a very disappointing dinner. People should be aware because I wanted to walk out this time and not pay but ive worked in the restaurant world so I would never just leave. Food is horrible here and not sure what's happening in that kitchen.
Overpriced terrible food. Onion Soup was cold and came out after entrees. Soup was aweful tasting. Got the lettuce wraps - which are shrimp...it came out with chicken. Take those off the menu, they were aweful and tasted like frozen bagged shrimp. Cap n crunch chicken - waste of money, definity not what you would expect from the description. Im not sure if any food we were served was hot to be honest and we went at 4:30 for dinner so it wasnt busy. I would suggest hiring new cooks, this place has gone downhill and we were very disappointed. Bummer, it use to be good....
Also it costs about $3.00 extra to pay with a card!! They dont tell you until you get your check.

A minus 100 star should be available here because that is what this restaurant deserves!
The first time my friend and I went there, it was really good. The crabs were hot and dry (they must have steamed them, that was the correct way of cooking), came in 2 clusters at a time, refilled almost immediately. The coffee was hot and the chocolate cake was delicious. We were so happy that we went back the very next week. Sadly, our experience was the total opposite! The crabs were definitely boiled! The plate was full of water! They came in clusters of 4, which got cold halfway. The refill took forever, though they were not so busy. The coffee was cold (server said she couldn't see it in the dark!!), chocolate cake was hard like it was in the freezer.
My friend decided to write an email explaining the 2 experiences to the management. Their manager, Ray Brown replied and promised that they would make it up to us the next time we went there.
After about 3 weeks, we went back. We mentioned the manager's name, hoping that would make a great difference. The first few refills were hot, came in clusters of 2 but some refills were dry, some were wet. Then a 'male server' delivered a COLD refill. We sent it back. The server said they must have been sitting out a while. We asked for Ray Brown, hoping to meet him. After an hour, he finally appeared and to our disbelief, it was the same male server who delivered the cold refill!!! We introduced ourselves so he knew who we were. We wondered if he remembered that he had served us the cold crabs!.
We asked for the last refill. It came with 2 hot clusters on top and a few broken pieces at the bottom. When we got the the broken pieces, we realized they were rotten. I spat it out immediately!! My friend cracked a piece and said it smelt horrible. We asked for Ray Brown again. When we told him about the rotten pieces, he wasn't even apologetic, all he said was 'they must have been at the bottom of the pot'. ???? What kind of explanation/excuse was that? So it was okay to serve rotten crabs?? Trying to poison the customers? He didn't even have the courtesy to offer a discount on our bill.

I primarily go to Liberty Union for crab legs. First visit was amazing; hot, meaty crabs arrived as fast as I could eat them. Logan, our server was excellent. Such a great experience, I was back two weeks later. This time, watery crabs that took forever to arrive. Not a busy night either. Later, waitress brought cold coffee for dessert. After this visit, I sent the manager an email detailing our experience. General manager, Ray Brown, responded very quickly and offered his apology and said that I should ask for him next time I was there. Just this last Tuesday, I went back. I asked our server, Mika ( who was terrific) if manager was in and she said he was running around as they were busy. Very soon, crabs started coming and they were much better than previous visit. A few times a little too water logged and salty but ok. But still very slow. At one point a male server walked by our table and dropped off a plate of crabs. All cold. Finally, Mr. Brown came to our table and I introduced myself and mentioned my previous email. He said that he remembered it and was glad we gave the restaurant another chance. As a manager though, I would have thought that he’d instruct servers to make sure we were very satisfied. Rebuild that positive experience. Not so. Still long delays in getting crabs. The last straw was when a plate of crabs arrived atop a pile of single legs. We were initially pleased until my guest ate one of the extra legs and spit out the meat immediately. Tasted rancid. I had one and just the smell was enough to know not to eat it. I again asked for manager who did return but didn’t seem overly concerned, remarking, “ those must have been at the bottom of the pot.” Again, I would think you’d make sure that my order was done correctly because of my email. In the end, the crabs were better than last visit, server Mika did a great job but guest relations on general manager part were disappointing.
