We (my family) live almost 60 some miles away, but we will take a drive to this diner we discovered on one of our roadtrips going south from where we live….. the food was always great and in my opinion you get a lot for the money…. We’ll just take a drive there n a Sunday just to eat lunch….. we love the inside look….it’s like something you’d see on the set of “Happy Days” and we’re expecting to see the “Fonz” walk in… love the oldies music playing all...read full review
I walked into the Diner tonight around 9:05 pm and sat down. No one waited on me and after about 10 mins of me sitting there I watched a family walk in. They got sat down and waited on immediately. I walked out around 9:35pm without anyone saying anything to me. I went to McDonald's and got a quarter pounder w/ cheese.
Stopped in to order takeout, the diner was just coming out of a busy cycle. Waitress saw me come in, went to seat me, but then promptly took my order.
I watched as they turned the tables and cashed patrons out. Very efficient. I was in and out in just over 10 minutes.
Food was very good. We had the Gravy Train bowl and a Cobb Salad.
We stay at the Hampton Inn next door often and will be returning here as well.
