“We happened to come upon this lovely place on our way back from Peddler’s Village. We were so glad we decided to stop. The restaurant is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The soups (snapper and crab corn chowder) were some of the best we’ve ever had. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to return!”

“Edit - Within less than an hour of posting my review, I received a prompt call from the restaurant to apologize explaining they saw my review and looked into what could’ve happened. They had found there was a crack in one of their lids and have fixed the issue. I am very happy with how quickly they looked into this and reached out. As such, I’m editing my review and can say this was likely just an accident and not indicative of the overall quality of the restaurant.Been coming here for years and the food is generally good. That said, we found a shard of hard glass or plastic in our food (spicy tuna roll) which my wife bit down on. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be coming back. Giving two stars just based on the previous good experiences…”

“My fiancée and I tried Don Hector’s this past weekend for the first time on a whim and we will definitely be back. We were greeted warmly upon entering and then comfortably catered to as we navigated the menu. Without any pressure or rush, suggestions were made where appropriate and the charcoal rotisserie process explained with obvious passion. The chicken was outstanding: the flavor, the texture, the juiciness! The sauce that comes with the chicken was such a pleasant surprise and the extra diablo sauce we added was the perfect amount of creamy heat. All of the sides were fantastic in portion, quality, preparation, flavor, and even the packaging! We will definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends!”

“What an amazing surprise!! We called EVERYWHERE in Doylestown trying to get prices to cater a backyard wedding of over 70. We called Giovanni‘s on state the week of our wedding and they were not only able to accommodate, but they were the easiest to work with and the most affordable. Then to our surprise the food was phenomenal. Not a single complaint other than I should have ordered more meatballs and chicken cutlets. The BEST in town. We’ll be back!”

“The empanadas are good. I like how they are fresh. We tried corn and samosa in vegetarian, I think samosa was a bit bland but having it with chipotle aioli makes up for it. We also tried buffalo chicked and bacon w dates.

“The loss of Hot Spot was depressing, but OPA Grille has carried on the tradition, plus some. The food is significantly better, not that I didn't like Hot Spot. Best I've ever had of everything we tried -- falafel, spanakopita, hummus, lemon potatoes and a gyro. All were outstanding, very reasonably priced, and the service and atmosphere were great. Even the side salad was food. Highly recommended.”
