For the first time in a while I had piss poor service and it colored the experience of the food. I don’t complain or even talk about my experiences that much. The server was young and green, you could tell. She mixed up the first thing - drinks. She either forgot or flat out ignored my daughter’s order and didn’t bring everything out (spoons with hot drinks and creamer for coffee or even the water I asked for) or even together at the same time - one drink one trip, one drink another trip, etc. and it wasn’t quickly after. We were her only table at that time. Food was good and served fine but she threw away my leftovers (2-3 bites of a rolled pita) while I wasn’t even at the table and didn’t even ask other folks. I liked it too and I eat slowly so I was probably going to finish it before we left. She messed up clearing the table 101. I don’t expect perfection (I was a server and I understand) but I expect the easiest things done without an issue. Maybe she doesn’t make a mistake the rest of the day, I hope so. I’ll be hard pressed to go back.

I usually order Aladdin through DoorDash, but this was my first time dining in. We went as a group of 5 on a Thursday night. It wasn’t packed, and I loved the atmosphere, music, and service. As for the food: Three of us had the rolled pitas — they were huge and delicious. Unfortunately, the Sultan shawarma pizza was disappointing, overloaded with onions and lacking meat and veggies.

I've had takeout from here as well as dine in. The food is consistently good. Service is also really fast and very friendly. Our latest adventure was dining with three young kids, and it was very pleasant. We went when it was not too busy and had a great meal. I really like"pitza" dishes, though I would recommend ordering that as dine in rather than take out as it gets a little soggy. Baba ganoush here is particularly good, as is their everyday pita bread. Also IMO the kids chicken tenders (which are grilled) with rice is a very solid dish.

Kid-friendliness: Both booster seats and high chairs are available. There is relatively decent spacing around the tables.

Partner’s salad with tuna steak was good - especially because he requested rare cooking and chef complied. My grilled lamb skewer on salad was BAD. Lamb was tough to cut and to chew. Every single bite. Asked for steak knife- they don’t have them! Finally spoke to waitress and then to manager. Manager apologized and said others have given same feedback!! There have been no changes by owners. Very disappointed. Accepted restaurant credit for cost of lamb entree. Will visit again but return to kefta kabob choices (ground meat) which have been my standby at this place. Also wish they don’t water down their tahini sauce. We enjoy their lemon based salad dressing. We appreciate that menu has clear GF symbols when our daughter joins us.

Dietary restrictions: Menu is clearly marked for gluten free and vegetarians.

Parking: On street parking is free after 6pm and on Sunday. Parking lots behind Dunkin Donuts and under the Library are monitored for all business hours by a contracted company.

One of my favorite local chains. Their food is always excellent. I've been going to their locations for years. Their cakes are insane.

I used to eat here when they opened in 2000 and then I moved away. I was in town and had lunch at the restaurant and the food, hospitality and cleanliness was the same as 24 yrs ago. Highly recommend Aladdin for lunch and dinner.

Huge selection of vegetarian and vegan options and very reasonable prices makes Aladdin's a regular go-to. The hummus is so smooth and creamy, some of the best I've had anywhere. The superfood salad always hits the spot, with plenty of leftovers. The vegetarian rolled pitas are also wonderful. It's always hard to choose just one thing from the menu.
