Went here for new year’s eve, definitely not for a younger crowd. Service was quick but the bartender wasn’t particularly kind and I heard her get short with some other customers.

This is by far my favorite bar in Pittsburgh. If you love an old school dive bar vibe this is your place! And if you like a new school vibe they just opened up another spot right next door that has live music and the vibes are great! I travel far to get here from my house bc this is the type of place, people and drinks I enjoy!

This is your classic 40's and up bar, and nothing wrong with that. I went there 4 separate times as my nightcap during my week stay. It happened to be close to the Airbnb and the drinks were good price. 2 of the 3 bartenders were great, the 3rd was definitely unhappy to be there and let everyone know it, I didn't stay when she was working, but the other girls were awesome! This is the bar for the people looking to relax and watch sports(me!)

This bar is a WAY overpriced dive bar! I went there because I was new to the neighborhood and this bar was close to my house and I heard they had a dartboard (which they do), so my husband and I went there to throw darts. Beer and drink prices are absolutely outrageous, and one of the bartenders likes to flirt with my husband when she thinks I'm not paying attention. The jukebox has none of the music I like on it, and even THAT thing is expensive! I swiped my debit card to play music, it told me my card was declined, so I went to the ATM inside the bar and took out cash and used cash at the jukebox instead, and then the next day had a $10 charge on my debit card from the jukebox that "declined" my card the night before and gave me no credits for the money they took from me. The bartenders seem to be unfriendly towards women as well. Just a place I'm glad I visited so I know where NOT to go again!
This place is awesome! They are so chill here. And they are professional. I feel safe here and lots of camaraderie on the juke box. These bartenders are fast, and serve drinks that are reasonably priced, and they’re personable. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a drink in a great environment.

Depending on the bartender, the service is great. I can say this out of experience because I used to be a bartender so I know what the job requirements are. If you end up getting the younger blonde bartender named Megan and YOU are a woman as well, you can forget about getting prompt service because she must be threatened by other women. However, if you bring YOUR HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND in there, she'll give him stuff for free like she gave my husband a Steelers baseball hat (brand new) AS SOON AS I WALKED AWAY FROM THE BAR... Makes me wonder why she'd do that while we are together and also pretend I'm invisible! Anyway, the dark-haired bartenders are awesome and it's a nice atmosphere of no trouble as far as I've seen. Nice place to throw darts, play pool, watch sports on TV, or play the jukebox and bang your fave music! Ladies, just don't jump over the bar at Megan when she gets cutesy with your man! Lol!
