We had a great dinner here. Relative to Pittsburgh options it was excellent. Mercimek chorba soup outstanding. Grilled shrimp and sea bass were wonderful. Grilled veggies appetizer was only disappointment, soaked in oil. And they were super nice. Would definitely go back.
The Iskender kebab did not meet my expectations. The meat did not taste like authentic Iskender meat, and the sauce tasted more like watered-down pizza tomato sauce rather than the rich, flavorful sauce typical of Iskender kebab. I also couldn’t taste the butter on top, which is usually a defining feature. I appreciate your effort, but the dish doesn’t taste like authentic Turkish Iskender kebab. I tried the Iskender at the restaurant across from you, and theirs tastes much...
The food was great, very high quality, but I can't say the same for dessert. Tiramisu was in a pudding bowl and tasted absolutely bad. I hope tiramisu will be removed from the menu or at least made again with a recipe close to the original, taking my comment into consideration.
