My husband and I enjoyed the olives and baby artichokes (with the delicious focaccia bread) as appetizers. We both got smaller portion pastas which was just the right size for myself. We split dessert and had 3 cocktails between the 2 of us. The price was very reasonable. The service was excellent!

Had a very nice brunch with my family. Service was excellent, but a bit slow. No reflection on our server, who was great. Food was good, but not exceptional. Wife had the crab and scallions omelet, looked bland and was bland. No sauce on top or on the side. My sons hanger steak and eggs were good, hanger steak very good. It was my wife's birthday, which they were aware of prior. For her birthday, a little plate was delivered with a birthday candle that was secured in the middle of the plate by the candle wax. Around this lone candle held straight by its own wax, were 5 small hard candies that were wrapped in cellophane. I probably expected more of a restaurant of this caliber. A small desert with a candle, maybe, or anything but a small candle and five cellophane wrapped hard candies.
I typically LOVE Alta Via. But unfortunately last nights dinner was a big miss. The noodles were stuck together, the sauce was different, and not very good, and the service was poor. When I mentioned to the server that the food was not up to the typical standard, she told me that I must be thinking about another restaurant, and this is the way that it's always made. I go frequently but I might not return.

Great evening at Alta Via FC. The service was on point tonight - attentive without being pushy. We enjoyed the tartare appetizer for the table of 4 and entrees. The steak is consistent and generous serving size. The branzino was a full filet, deboned with a delicious crisp to the skin. Desert was simple, classic tiramisu and gelato. Recommend for all locals. Good vibe and great cocktails, even if you opt only for 2 seats at the bar.

We have dined here numerous times - however, this evening’s (a Thursday night for reference) dining experience was horrible. Our food took over an hour to come out, pasta was cold and stuck together, and portions for the “large size” were the same as the small size we had ordered just 30 days prior. The waitress did apologize for the food delay; however no actions were taken further. The manager was not at the hostess stand when we left to express our complaints. I DO NOT recommend dining here on a busy night or weekend night. As people who live in FC, I will say I will not be returning back anytime soon after this evening’s service. Extremely disappointed.

Everything was just amazing. The staff were all very professional and attentive. The food was delicious and done to perfection. It was in all a wonderful experience. We will definitely dine there again. Great Date Night out!!!

We were on a special mother-daughter outing. Everyone was so kind, thoughtful, and gentle with my child who was having her first fancy meal out. The restaurant is also quiet which makes it easy to talk without raised voices. It was such a pleasant meal and since it went so well we'll be coming back for other meaningful family events. Thank you!

Staff was excellent, Ambience very nice. Food was not that great for the price and we were disappointed since we heard such great things about this place. I ordered Pappardelle w/ Braised beef and the beef in the dish was literally the size of dog food pellets that added up to 3 pieces of beef, maybe.. Also, the dish had no flavor. We ordered brussels sprouts that were supposed to be roasted, but were just burnt charcoal leaves. My spouse's dish was gemelli and was supposed to have sea scallops, oven-roasted tomato, spinach, basil, lemon. He had a couple pieces of spinach, but no basil or tomato and couldn't taste any flavor. But he did advise the scallops were cooked well. I have to agree with some of the other reviews that advised the food was not that good. I understand that things cost a lot today, but it is not worth this cost to receive very little protein, mushy pasta and very little sauce. Very bummed since we were looking forward to this dinner.
I loved my meal; my wife said hers was overcooked (pasta) and flavorless. I also ordered the brussel sprout salad, but I was brought the brussel sprout appetizer instead. We sat at the bar for dinner. I would have asked for my salad to be brought out instead, but the bartender was clearly overwhelmed and complaining to the other bartender at this time. When things slowed down, he was very personable, though.

Gemelli was very dry, Scallops included were very good. Chopped Salad was not good at all, old iceberg few and far between other ingredients. Chopped salad has been much better before. Pappardelle with short ribs were as good as usual. Drinks and wine were good with good selection. Deserts Olive Oil cake very good and chocolate torta caprese very good as well. Service was good and knowledgeable. Valentines' day weekend, place was absolutely packed. Overall, always a very good restaurant, this time a few misses.

When we entered...the man at the front was generally rude...we were a few minutes early and wanted to head to the bar...we were told we were not able to do this...because there is not much room for workers to get around and standing was not an option...we could see open seats...he also said it would only be a minute for our table...it was certainly longer than just a minute...having a rude person greeting us made for a less than optimal experience...our waiter was excellent
