One of our favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. You may need reservations during peak hours. Homemade pasta and sauce homemade focaccia phenomenal service. Highly recommend if you have an Italian craving
First time at Alta Via and we had a wonderful dinner experience. Our waiter made a special effort explaining the menu and suggested we share items to get a fuller range of tastes of their foods, especially the pastas. From the Roasted Beet salad, to the Tagliatelle pasta, to the Taramisu, we shared and thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. We can't wait to go back and try more menu items.
I always enjoy a good meal from Alta Via. On a few occasions, they've allowed me to make slight modifications to my pasta too. The olives are amazing and the portion is huge, enough for me to take half home with me.
