I have been to quite a few soul food restaurants in my time and this was by far the best!! The service was great and I just was so amazed by the food. If I get to Pittsburgh again, I will definitely go back. I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes lunch special that came with a roll, and added greens w/turkey meat and candied yams on the side as well. Everything was amazing. Visiting the city for the ASALH conference, and decided to stop by to support a Black-Owned restaurant. Walked here from the Omni Hotel. The lights are on, the open sign neon and blinking, but the doors are locked. I hope all is well.

First time lunch stop. Salman rice and veggies were cooked perfectly. I will be back.

Parking: Typical parking for downtown Pittsburgh. Covered parking across the street and close to the David L Lawrence Convention Center.
