Everything about this bar screamed fancy, I love that it is 7 floors up and you get a beautiful view of Pittsburgh, drinks are great, wide selection of beer, and a very friendly bartender. Hoping I get to go back one day.
The design of the bar is great, but I was surprised by how few customers there were. I went on a Friday evening, and saw only four other people the entire time I was there. Very odd that a place this unique doesn’t receive more customers. Another perk was the parking lot just across the street, and it only cost $5.
We must have hit this place on a bad night. I'm looking at the pictures of the charcuterie boards from other reviews, and that is NOT what we received, not even close. For $26 we got 1 sclice of toast (cut in 3 pieces), 3 slices of cheese, and a few olives. It would have been laughable if I wasn't so angry at having been scammed on the price. Level 7 is a new, clean hotel with convenient location, close to a conference center and various restaurants. The hotel has wooden floors and limited fabrics, making it suitable for people with allergies. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and convenient shower facilities. The lobby is inviting, featuring a bar with top-shelf choices.
The hotel provides secure key access to guest floors, water and ice dispensers, and a limited cable television selection, allowing guests to attach their Netflix or other paid services. Parking is available across the street for a low price.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes. The hotel is adjacent to a train line, but the windows are well-soundproofed, and there is a brown noise system in the rooms. Despite this, some guests may be awakened by the sound of dumpsters being emptied in the alley, particularly if their room is located on the alley side.
The hotel features a gym, but some guests may prefer better gym amenities. The hotel is also located near a convention center and the John Kerry Smithsonian annex.
