Coffee - excellent, quality, very kind and engaging barista.
Beer - underwhelming. Not sure why this has such a cult following.
hosts restrictive meetups
Aslin makes our favorite beer, and this location is really big. I would love to be able to go every week
Everything went so perfectly for our Welcome Party in the Loft of Aslin Brewery in Pittsburgh on the Strip for about 100 people! The food was great - we had plenty of it. Rebecca, the event sales manager, was very accurate in guesstimating amounts needed. The presentation of the food in large off white bowls, labeled, and tiers for the sliders was so fancy and professional! We placed flashdrives in the tvs of artwork to give the feel of a trendy gallery. We also were able to personalize with decor on the wall going up the stairs to the Loft to highlight our event.
The Loft is a great place for an event of this size! The seating groupings were all filled up and enjoyed by our guests. The level of customer service from Rebecca and her staff was so appreciated. The event was everything the bride and groom hoped it would be! Thank you, Aslin!
Very disappointing. Turned up towards the end of the evening and the bar staff couldn’t have been less pleased to see us. One word answers. Maybe they were keen to lock up and go home. Pinball machines were in good order (so 2 stars instead of one) but they also use the AWFUL VpayEZ app which gives a new meaning to ‘stressful and user unfriendly’.
Bad food and bad beer. The food was ridiculously expensive. Will not come back.
I’m not a beer drinker so keep in mind this review is only for wine and food:
The wines were great and I was surprised they had a nicer selection for a brewery. The food was pretty good but I felt like they didn’t have a lot of options on the menu that actually suited my taste. I am not a huge fan of food that is super greasy or fried. The service was pretty bad. It’s QR code ordering and going up to the bar. We waited pretty long for both food and to get someone’s attention to get a drink. The room is also so incredibly loud we had to yell all night. They need some acoustic panels. Overall not a bad spot but not my first choice to go for a brewery with my friends.
Got the smash burger it was good. The drinks I got sucked and the cheese fries weren’t good they needed to have nacho cheese instead of beer cheese.
I ordered the smash burger and it was not a smashburger. Frozen patty bubba burger at best. Took the kicthen 40minutes to cook. Still raw in the middle. Dont waste your money.
Been to the flagship location in VA a couple of times, so I knew this would be out 1st stop after the drive in from NJ…. What I DIDN’T expect was the ridiculously delicious pepperoni pizza with some ricotta and some hot honey —- shut the front door!!! 11 out of 10 on the perfect taste scale!!! 😵😵😵

Giving 5 stars because, great venue, excellent beer selection. Loved the pizza too!! The pin ball machines seal the deal!! I will be back for some coffee.
The aslin no. 8 was awesome. Another great place to site and take a break.
This is a good place for beer and bar-type food. There's a lot of space inside, with normal tables and chairs, seating at the bar, as well as picnic tables. Their beers are generally top notch and are fresh. The food is pretty normal bar-type food with a few twists thrown in (pizza, burgers, hot dogs.) Pricing is a little on the high side, but this is a gentrified area. The QR code ordering system can be flaky- we had to reload the menu numerous times before it would take our order. Once we had put it in however, our order came out pretty quickly. Overall I would say we had a positive experience.
Aslin Beer Company always has some of the coolest craft beers around. Really nice space with lots of seating and a coffee shop.
Good atmosphere, spacious and good vibes. The food is all around, fine but not anything spectacular and honestly wouldn’t come here again. It all looks like it would be good too. Super bland, kinda tastes like you’re not eating anything. We tried the kale Cesar, loaded fries, burger sliders, turkey chive sandwich and a pasta dish. Fairly expensive for the quality of food. Staff seemed nice though and lots of parking.
