I've been to the Millvale store quite a few times. Just like today. I try something different every time and I'm never disappointed. The flavors of the different menu items are delicious. The staff is always friendly. The one little lady who works there is always so bubbly. If you're looking for something different, something that isn't frozen pizza, or something that feels like comfort food, this is the place. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend paying them a visit.
Overpriced, mediocre pizza at best. We’ve had Iron Born three times - each time at the Millvale location. The first time wasn’t great but we thought it was an off day. Gave it a second try and ordered the buffalo chicken pizza which was really good. Ordered it yesterday, and it was some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Iron Born Pizza & Pasta | Strip District offers friendly and quick service. The food is good value, with a cesar salad and red pie and two bottles of ice cold coca-cola under $40. The thick crust pizza is very good, and the two sauce pie is excellent for those who don't like to make a decision. The meatballs are delish. The salad is fresh and delicious, and the gluten free pizza is outstanding, with a light yet crispy crust. The classic pie has a great crispy crust, perfectly cooked. The Orrechiettee pesto cream pasta is absolutely delicious. The buffalo chicken pizza is a personal favorite. The beer selection is always good, with tasty cocktails as well. The place is a little small but has a nice enough atmosphere. It is always fantastic pizza that looks small but is hard to finish a whole one.
