I got a basic coffee, so maybe I’m not the best reviewer of the full Au Bon Pain experience. I asked for a coffee. The person behind the counter handed me a cup and told me the total. I tapped. That was it. The coffee was good. The tables lining the hallway were fine. Food review of The Good Egg Sandwich (without avocado)The yolks of the fried eggs were the perfect texture, so soft that if they were cooked slightly less then they would be runny; the cheddar selected had a slightly smoky, meaty flavor that complimented the eggs well; the tomatoes, spinach, and lemon aioli sauce harmonized with all the other flavors perfectly; its only flaw was that the ingredients kept falling off, but that is user error and not the fault of the expert artisans...
Haven’t had any bad customer service experiences here and the prices are expensive but comparable to all other on-campus places. Nothing amazing, but it really is one of the better on-campus spots if you have blocks to burn or don’t want to leave campus for lunch
