Good service and vegetarian options available. Desserts need work. Brownie had a very weird after taste. Macaroons were hard Tamale - it was my first time having this item. It was interesting experience for the price. Empanadas - stuffing could have been more. Burrito is customizable and very filling for the price. Overall cheap and decent food. Went again, Very poor bowl quality. Less quantity for the price.
I've been to Gallo easily over a hundred times in the last five years, and I keep going back. The two things Gallo has above its competitors are its salsas and the quesadilla. The salsas are way better than those at Chipotle, and I particularly highly recommend the salsa verde for some real heat. If you're not getting the quesadilla at Gallo, you're doing it all wrong; all the good ingredients in the hot crispy tortilla is something you're not going to get elsewhere in walking...read full review

I'd just received difficult news and came here for dinner, hoping for a pick-me-up. It was a rough first experience. I walked up to the storefront and the girl behind the counter turned around and stuck her tongue out at me with a grimace. No response when I asked her or her co-worker what was wrong, just chuckles.Disappointed.
