This is a really cute spot in Lawrenceville which sadly is yet another prime example of pittsburghers' basement-level standards for food quality.

The banh mis are squarely below average, and grossly overpriced for the quantity of food. Underfilled and bland. You taste nothing but sugar. They are missing pickled daikon, a critical component. The tofu was simply the pre-packed fried variety and had no seasoning or sauce. Sure, you can load it up with sriracha but the sandwich I had was so sad for something that should be incredibly simple and delicious.

At least the drinks are excellent, and the service is good.

Really good, banh mi. Being from the Bay Area, my bar is pretty high. One of my favorites.

A delicious Banh Mi sandwich! Ask for jalapenos if you want some heat. Great service & very friendly. Good luck finding a better sandwich in Lawrenceville!

I am using Google maps a lot to decide in which restaurant I am having my dinner. To be honest I did not understand why this restaurant has a really high rating. This is an ordinary restaurant that you find what you paid for nothing more. Tastes are just alright, the prices are reasonable.

Came here for lunch with my friend and got the classic chicken bowl and of course bubble tea! Everything was pretty good and reasonably priced, I would go back! Not sure if there was indoor seating but we ate outside.

I found an old gift card and was excited to use it (as their sandwiches are good). After making my way to Lawrenceville, I was told their gift cards expire after 1 year--which was not disclosed at the time of purchase or gifting. This is a fraudulent and deceptive business with little care for customer service or care--zero effort to try and make it right or amend the situation. I understand they are a small business and need to be mindful of revenue, but it is ridiculous how they scam customers! I can easily find Viet food elsewhere in Pittsburgh. Shame on them. The owners preach family values and an immigrant success story, but they do it by swindling people out of their money.
