Ambiance is excellent! You would want to come study here and hang for quite awhile, I think. The service is very friendly. Baristas are kind and engaging but not overly so. The coffee is good. The espresso isn't too winey, and the beans they use are not "under-roasted" which is common amongst third-wave coffee shops. I've gone to Inkwell consistently for around 3 years now, and in Lawrenceville, it's my go-to spot. Solid combo of friendly staff, good treats, and a nice balance of coffee options — consistent drip coffee, traditional (low sugar/dairy) espresso-based drink options, and classic novelty drinks. So relaxing here. I love the comfy corner chair by all the plants and the large windows out front. Really calm with nice, upbeat but non interruptive music selection. In the past I ordered there breakfast sandwiches, scones and muffins which I enjoy. Really nice cold brew with a bold flavor and definite caffeine kick.
