I love this bagel shop. It’s my favorite spot for an Americano. The coffee is great and they don’t charge an arm and a leg. I really like the bagels and I think the bagel sandwiches and food hits the spot for me. I recently really loved their winter soup on a cold day. I’m a Brooklyn native and while I generally don’t have high expectations for a great bagel outside of NYC - I am really pleased with the bagels here. Yum!
Generally speaking I really enjoyed my visit to Brooklyn Bagel at Arsenal. They have a fun variety of breakfast sandwich options.I selected the Burgh and was impressed if not overwhelmed by the size and thickness of the sausage patty. It was as thick as a burger patty! I liked the combination of the egg, cheese, sausage patty, and hash brown and thought adding the hash brown to the sandwich was a fun touch.That being said, my everything bagel was mediocre at best. Grabbed a bagel for the first time today, even though I've driven by and been in lawrenceville a million times! I ordered the Torta bagel sandwich on a sesame bagel. This sandwich had a has brown, fried egg, cheese, cilantro sauce and chorizo. It was incredibly greasy (as most things with chorizo are) but it was so good!
