The food is honestly pretty mid for that price. I think you're paying a lot for the experience, which is fine, but if you're looking for really amazing food you might see at that price this probably isn't it.
Benihana is just not what it used to be. All of our food was very overcooked. The menu said "shrimp appetizer", but instead the shrimp sat on the grill the entire time and was served at the end. Chicken was dry from being overcooked, steak was medium well, not medium rare as ordered... The whole experience was mediocre.
The food was amazing! We went for resturaunt week and their selected menu was perfect for the two of us to enjoy. We typically do Saga in Monroeville but this was a nice change of pace and a good amount of food for the price.
