Hey all! Heads up, black lotus is now permanently closed😠no more! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-04
This is a such a wonderful spot. Lots of food options--vegan, vegetarian, gluten free--and they're all so good! I just had the best wings I've ever had, hands down. We come for trivia every month!
Vegetarian options: All of their food can come vegetarian, and you can sub in vegan meat if you'd like.
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free

Went here with friends and enjoyed it. The food was great, we got the power rangers pizza. It's a nice atmosphere, and they hold events like karaoke. We enjoyed playing some games before we got our food too.

First stumbled into black lotus one day apteka was particularly popular. Glad we did! Lots of specialty pizzas are already vegan or can be veganized. Can also make your own.
Delicious gluten free pizza! The traditional sauce is solid. Pineapple and pepperoni that curls make the best pizza toppings.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are abundant!

This is a great concept and I really wanted to like the place, but it had some real hangups.
Pros: food is amazing, pizza is delicious and very well made, large enough play space and they do a lot with little.
Cons: oh boy, the bathroom is a disaster zone. Urinal broken, door doesn't lock, stall door also doesn't lock, TP dispenser is so tight you have to crank the hell out of it to get more than a single square, seriously. Sink has a sign on it saying not to lean on it.
The play space has lots of seats...but not much room, you have to squeeze by people any time you move around.
They also have barely any air conditioning, I'm sure the heat wave contributed, but around 8pm the place became a sweatshop, everyone was sweating their butts off, most people left because of it.
IMO they should knock out the entire left half of the counter and spread out the tables a bit, they'd have room to add another one or two as well, the sales space there is, frankly, wasted. I didn't see anyone buy product for the 4+ hours I was there, and they still had sealed boxes of 2yr old mtg products as evidence of this.
I think they deserve a second chance, to be fair. They were very busy and it was during a heat wave, so it's quite possible that I caught them at a bad time. I will go back and see...

New to the area but we're looking forward to being here more often! Small selection of magic cards (just the right amount to impulse buy) and lots of games to play while you hang out. We were encouraged to BYOB and saddle up with a game and some pizza, which we will be doing very soon!

I’ve gone here for takeout twice. Both times were really good. Pizza is low priced and there is always a good deal.
