No photo due to not willing to put my crunch wrap down.
20/10 and I don't eat food from a van.

It’s amazing to see how much Blue Sparrow has grown. I have friends who live out of the area who ask to go grab one of their pizzas as soon as they land - as other reviews say for not being a pizza truck they sure do have one of the best pizzas in town. I’ve taken other people who are skeptical of their menu but love them one bite in - nice that there is variety and everything seems perfectly curated that if someone tries something new they are having a good experience doing so. The ingredients always seem fresh, I feel they have such a good handle on their inventory system, the food is good and the staff are kind.

What an absolute blessing it is to have this gem in our city! The Heart of Te Fiti pizza should be a must, if it's available. Don't want 'za? The Beef Roja Crunchwrap is your answer. Always top quality food, exetremely affordable, and wonderful humans.

Please open a brick in mortar location in Cranberry, yinz will be multi-billionaires.

Always great food. Noodles, pizza, crunch wraps, dumplings. All of it! Gnome and sparrow is a combo that can’t be beat. 11/10

War pizza was to die for. It has kimchi but it wasn’t too spicy. Honestly the best and most unique pizza I’ve ever had.

I've never had a bad meal at Blue Sparrow. This winter they are serving ramen on Fridays, and it is one of the best ramen I have ever had. I recommend adding their house-made chili crunch for a pop of heat.

I am so frustrated. If I could leave two reviews, I'd leave a five star (six star if possible) for the food and one star for our overall experience. This honestly is the best food I've had in Pittsburgh. My wife and I came here today to celebrate with our three kids and eight grandchildren and we came here because I wanted to share this awesome find with all of them. But we were treated very rudely by one of the guys at the truck. He came over and was obviously really exasperated with us for letting our grandchildren walk on the wood benches. To be fair, the kids were being kids. We were right there but they were having fun with their cousins and yes, they were walking around on the benches. We didn't realize that was against the rules. The guy from the food truck came over and dressed us down. We apologized and he just kept on going, obviously really frustrated at us. The frustration was at the level that would be appropriate if he had asked us several times to control the kids and we completely ignored him. This was not the case. We were verbally dumped on.

I work in retail so I know how frustrating customers can sometimes be. All the guy needed to do though, was to come over and talk to one of the adults and say, "hey I'm sorry -- I need to ask you to keep the kids off the benches. We've had some close calls with kids almost falling over the top of the railing there and we don't want that to happen with your kids. Sorry." That is how you make a customer feel valued. You speak to them politely. This was not at all how our whole group was spoken to.

Like I said, their food is awesome. Maybe they can depend on that and don't need to treat people with kindness and patience. But I won't be back. I honestly feel sick writing this review, but I was so shocked at the way we were treated. My wife did talk to the guy in the truck as we were leaving, but she never received an apology. And by the way, as soon as we told the kids they couldn't stand on the benches, they sat. And that was that. I.e. they're good kids. We came there to celebrate and we left feeling completely insulted. I'm done.

Would go to blue sparrow food truck religiously to get kimchi rice on menu , the last 2 times sold out at truck , they won’t serve it at the bus .. then go pickup 2 orders they shrink portion size by half ? Now 2 orders are same size as 1 order used to be ! So shady Stop the greed !

it's really funny that the best pizza in the city is not in the city and in an italian restaurant but in a foodtruck beside a brewery.
