“Tucked away off walnut, Dr. Tea is a great, cozy place with a fair amount of seating to do work/study, and their drinks are definitely worth it!
Taro blast was delicious, a nice taro flavor with crystal boba that was soft with a nice cream cheese cap, would recommend! They have a lot of fun options and changing seasonal ones too.
It was $8 for a large specialty drink which is pretty on par with other places, plus it’s one of the only boba spots in the area so worth stopping by!“

“Every time I come up to Pittsburgh to visit (once a month at least) I HAVE to get boba from here. It is always perfection. Love how there’s so many different drinks and you can customize them to preference. They give SO much boba!!! Love of my life.
It is a little pricy, but for the size and quality you can’t complain.“
“Yifang is truly like no other spot. Their drinks are always fresh, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best boba tea I have personally ever tried. Whether you’re a boba regular or new to it, Yifang sets the standard for what boba should be. 10/10 would recommend 😆“

“As a person who isn't fond of Boba Bubbles ( texture issue ), it's still a very good beverage option. My fiancée absolutely loves Kung fu tea & we make a stop every time we are in the area. The variety of drinks keeps it fun & interesting. Highly recommend using the app before planning a visit because making up your mind doesn't come quick lol.“

“They have non dairy milk! (Soy and oat). I didn’t see this until after I had placed my order. I happened to notice one of the employees opening a carton of oat milk while I was waiting for my order which prompted me to return to the menu and scroll through looking for non-dairy milk options. It was confusing to find it Because it was listed under the “milk tea” section. So if you scroll down to the milk tea section and select your drink, under one of the drop-down menus, it says milk options, and then you can choose oat or soy. There is no up-charge, which is great.
I Hadn’t bothered to look for any non-dairy milk options because it doesn’t seem to be very common at bubble tea shops. I know there is one in Lawrenceville that offers non-dairy milk. Lawrenceville is not very convenient to get to on the bus.
will definitely return to get another drink with or soy. It’s also worth it to know, when you order if you need something dairy free, make sure to select “0% milk foam”. I also like to have the option to choose the amount of sweetener and ice level for your drink.“

“They have undoubtedly the best spicy chicken sandwich anywhere in the USA. And I'm not exaggerating. I've been trying spicy chicken sandwiches all around the USA looking for anywhere that makes them as well as the ones I tried in Asia. Nowhere ever came close -- until now. They have a Perfect Spice blend in the breading 10/10, Shredded lettuce on a sesame seed bun with mayo 10/10, CHICKEN THIGH BREADED AND COOKED TO PERFECTION 10000/10. I wish I could send a 6th star. I will be coming back again. A lot.“

“I have a matcha problem and I really enjoyed the matcha ice cream here. Levels 2 and 3 were great but I’m sure that level 1 is good too! Good customer service as well. I also liked that there were non-matcha flavors available for my non-matcha consuming companions.“

“Parked outside for an appointment and was intrigued. Stepped inside and I was warmly greeted and pleasantly surprised to see authentic mouth watering and tasty Asian pastries with just the right amount of sweetness without gobs of sugar. Left with several items and will definitely return. Also, I’m a huge fan of bubble tea but I missed that on my first trip.“

“Ignore the 3 star review from Tiffany “the local guide”. The mochi donuts are good, Tiffany is just uneducated on what a mochi donut is. “I though it would be mochi” “I was expecting a deep fried aka Dunkin’ Donuts”
Can’t be both Tiffany. Mochi is not usually deep fried.
“It was chewy but in a good way?”
Mochi is chewy. Have you just heard the word and imagined something in your head rather than actually try it before?
Mochi donuts, like other mochi, are made with glutinous rice flour. This gives them their chewy texture.
Tiffany’s review sounds like those people that substitute stuff in an online recipe then get mad when it doesn’t work because it’s not in the recipe.
In short, learn about what you’re eating before making useless comments“

“This is my favorite place to eat in all of Pittsburgh!!! The soy garlic wings hit the spot every single time. So flavorful and crunchy! Plus, their seasoned fries are better than anywhere else in the city and I absolutely adore their tteokbokki. This was also our go-to boba spot for years when my wife and I used to work in Oakland. I'd encourage anyone with an appetite to give it a shot, it is well worth it!! :)“

“Amazing food, generous portions, kind staff. Loved the atmosphere, lighting fixtures and art work on the wall
If you get pad Thai and you like a lot of peanuts and lime ask for extra when ordering.
Downside is it was pricier than I expected. Two teas and two noodle dishes with an app and one dessert split was almost 80 dollars. But if I have the money I would go again in the future. I guess 35ish a person isn't bad in a higher end establishment. Glad I stopped in.“

“Recently moved to Pitt for school and kept walking by this cafe, looked interesting and had a lot of my favorite Taiwanese dishes, so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the fried pork chop over rice, eggplant w/ basil, and sauteed green beans. Wow... the comfort that Taiwanese food brings me? This hit the spot!
And I found a surprise when I started eating my pork chop rice, it came w/ a small serving of braise pork underneath and a tea egg, which basically was the bowtie on top of a fantastic meal!
Portions are fairly big too, I have enough leftovers for a meal or two~ Will definitely be going back to try more dishes!“

“This place has amazing bubble tea and mochi donuts! I honestly don’t know why it took me this long to try it clearly, I’ve been missing out on happiness in drink and donut form. 😅 Everything was super fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back (probably way too often now).“

“My first experience here was quite interesting. The biggest highlight was how perfectly juicy and delicious my chicken was. Also, Ginger beer isn't bad at all. The seaweed salad was generously delicious. I had to take it home to finish it all and I'm glad i did! The service was so friendly, and the restaurant was so clean, I was ecstatic to be there. Next time I'll bring a friend! Can't wait to try a new dish!“

“I started to give them 3 stars but I choose four stars because the service was really good and it was a nice atmosphere. Now as for the food I got the General tso shrimp and it was pretty tasty. I also got the vegetable spring roll one of the worse I have ever got , it tasted like the store frozen ones but worse, like it was old or something . Also the thai tea was not tasty at all and was watered down“

“I was a little worried about trying this place because it had so many bad reviews, but my meal today was very good! I had the general tsos and it was deliciously crispy and saucy. I also like thar you have a choice of two sides with several options. I had the lo mein and steamed veggies. Portion size was great, I ate it for two meals. My food came out very fast.“
